ABC is a very clean and professionally run park. Long pull thru's are suitable for 40' + rigs with tow and there were quite a few there. Management was very helpful helping us get tickets for shows. The park was quiet at night. Plenty of "dog runs" so we didn't have to go half way across the park to exercise fido. Our site (16) was a bit narrow and closely spaced but we felt that was due to the hilly terrain. Some reviewers say sites are unlevel, but only a handful that I saw were, and are up by the laundry room. There is an RV wash bay but we didn't try it. The park is very clean and well maintained. Drives to the strip don't take very long, and it's almost nice to be away from the hustle and bustle when the day was done. We would highly recommend staying here.
We pulled in after closing and were greeted at the door by the owner in his cart by the time we filled out the registration form. Helped us get situated and held the lights for us as we connected our utilities. Nice flat pull through sites. Excellent shower facilities, with some nice personal touches and some of the cleanest and neatest we've seen. Would rate it higher, but were just passing through so didn't really get to evaluate anything else. Was off the highway far enough to not be noisy.
Nice camp hosts, but park is not in good repair other than the newer restrooms and showers, which were quite clean and modern. It was being worked on while we were there, but there is a long way to go before we'd decide to return. For example, the entrance drive has its share of potholes, the sites contained large rocks and the dust gets pretty bad from other vehicles that drive through. A couple of dumpsters of junk could easily be removed from the premises. One leg of our 50A power went out, so we had to plug into the site next to us because maintenance never came to fix it (3 days). The TV cable has only a handful of stations and they were affected with static so plan on using your satellite dish. Otherwise, the river runs right through the middle and there is nice pond where we could fish. Bait and some supplies are available at the camp store.
Very well kept park and very friendly people who run it. Long pull-throughs suitable for the biggest rigs. Saw some 45' motorhomes with long trailers that could still get in. The sites face northwest so you get a great sunset view out the driver's side windows. The scenery is tremendous with mountains on just about all sides, and the sites are tastefully landscaped. The campground is located just off Route 14 which can be taken directly downtown to the major tourist attractions and shops, or I25 which can take you to Albuquerque in less than an hour. Strong Wi-Fi signals, landscaped sites, excellent gravel drives, and just about every amenity you could ask for including front loader washing machines in the laundromat made for a very pleasant stay. In fact, we were so pleased we extended our stay for two additional days instead of moving elsewhere. The campground is bordered by new homes, and there is a gravel dog walk and jogging trail that encircles it. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe.
This is one of the quietest places we've ever stayed in and the camphosts are very pleasant. The grounds are extremely clean and nicely groomed and the buildings well maintained. Trash pickup, wide and long sites, a very nice clubhouse, and a great golf course across the valley made our time here a real pleasure. There are some permanent sites but nothing that was unkempt. Don't expect to get a cellphone signal for a few miles one way or the next. The only reason we didn't give a 10 rating is the lack of a strong enough Wi-Fi signal where our site was. We will definitely visit here again.
