Stayed here for a few months and the place is the BEST in the area. Feels like you're in a state park but is close to gas and convenience store as well as golf and fine dining. Large sites with lots of privacy. No TV not an issue for us so we gave it a 10. Would stay here again, for sure.
We stopped here for overnight but if we were planning to stay it would have been a nice place for that. Helpful, friendly staff and nice layout. Only downside is proximity to the freeway but the noise isn't bad.
Really enjoy staying here despite the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity and the relative high cost. Sites are generally level and there is sufficient space between. Staff was extremely helpful. We decided to come to Teton just a week earlier and couldn't get 3 consecutive nights reserved, but despite a full park they found us site for the middle night.
Very well kept parking lot. Sites are pretty level and some sites have shade but all are close together and in the summer very HOT. Friendly staff and reasonable cost. We stayed here as some friends were staying here, but unlikely to stay here again.
Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Had a problem with leveling. We must do it with blocks, so were moved to another site. Looked at the rest rooms and showers but didn't use, due to charge for shower water. (Just irritates me!) Otherwise a lovely place.
This is a brand new park with nice level sites, very clean restrooms, and great owners and hosts. Road noise is somewhat of an issue as well as the current lack of shade. Trees have been planted. It has a restaurant that is open seasonally and great outdoor kids activities. We stayed overnight and would stay here again.
This campground is a good option for folks who want to visit downtown Salt Lake. A shuttle runs to the Temple area and right now light rail is being constructed right across the street. Construction makes travel there a bit tricky at present. Sites are laid out in an interesting pattern, not bad, just different. There are lots of trees. Wi-Fi is Tengo which I dislike, but it is available and free. Dog area is too far away so our dogs ended up going at our site. More dedicated dog area and/or a park would improve my rating.
Nice quiet park right on the St. John River. Wi-Fi was good: must have installed it since last review. Site was a bit out of level. Generally well maintained and friendly hosts. As always, we wish they had a dog park, otherwise great for us. We would stay here again.
Rate reflects PPA discount. Parked right on the shore. Beach would have been difficult for us to access - a bit steep - but OK for the younger and more adventurous. A lovely setting with lots of seasonals and the park needs some repair; the website is from another time and it obviously has come down since. Also known as "Joyful Journeys" in the tourist guide - unknown why. I don't think we would stay here again. Conveniently close to the ferry.
Due to weather our site was not level. Imagine they will remedy this as the season progresses. Showers are for a fee, likely because of so many tent sites (which looked great, by the way). The beach area is beautiful. We would stay here again.
This campground is one of the best. Owners are friendly and helpful and the sites are nicely spaced, private and level. We weren't able to try the restaurant as it wasn't open yet. We were sorry we could only stay one night. There are quite a few seasonals: it's obvious why.
This is a lovely campground with something for everyone. Lots of rain this season has created problems with keeping the sites level but otherwise the only thing I could see to improve would be a dog park - otherwise high marks! We would stay here again.
If we had been prepared to "camp" this would have been great - we weren't so didn't work out very well for us, no fault of the owners. This is an exceptionally beautiful spot with a pay lake for fishing. No real amenities at this time, other than ones you would expect from a camp. Very nice owners. We would stay here again if prepared for no connectivity and had groceries, etc.
This park is nice for an overnight. Good wi-fi and inexpensive. Our site hadn't been well kept so was covered with cigarette butts. We would stay here again. Great food in Etown at Texas Outlaw! Multiple nationwide winner for BBQ - worth the stop.
This is one of our favorite parks, ever. We returned here after staying here 6 months ago, even though it was a little off our route. The people are exceptionally nice and welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Little perks are nice: fenced dog park big enough to run in, consistent Wi-Fi, a shuttle to town, breakfast on weekends, pizza to order available every night. We will definitely stay here again if back in the area.
Very nice park for "city" RV'ing. Located right off I-35/44, but was too noisy for us. Has good facilities, level sites and lots of big rigs. Would stay here again for an overnighter. Also has good Wi-Fi.
This was a delightful experience for us and the dogs. We stayed in the Cherokee area which has only W&E, but camped on a "premier" site that was a concrete slab and very level. There is a dump at this section of the park. We were nearly alone in the park and had a great view as well as easy access to the lake. Our charge reflects the Senior discount. I would have given them a 10 if wi-fi were available.
This is a very comfortable and welcoming campground. Facilities are rustic and would get a 10 if the laundry and showers weren't somewhat worn and in need of upgrading. Wi-Fi was great and the pet amenities, including a trail and a small fenced yard, were much appreciated by our dogs. We plan to return here and stay longer. The park is several miles outside Santa Fe proper, so is quiet and dark, but not convenient unless you are able to drive to town.
Clubhouse, which includes showers, pool, laundry, etc. is wonderful! Sites are concrete slabs with no shade, generally. Lots of mobile homes- thought of it as "trailer town", and tons of concrete so hot, hot, hot! Although there is a nice dog area it is difficult to access after dark - the only time it was cool enough to walk - due to security fences. Convenient to shopping if you have a car. Would not stay here again.
Excellent park for the older RVers, especially with dogs. Nice dog run, quiet setting and very well maintained. Our rate was the cash rate. We stayed two nights longer than we had planned since we liked it so much.
This is a nice quiet and friendly park. We had a site on the pond and would have enjoyed the deck if the weather had co-operated. Bathrooms could use some upgrading, but were clean. We were unable to get internet and left a day early as a result.
This park is quite run down looking but functional and fits with the "beach" atmosphere. Wi-Fi was great and the beach is quite close. Sites have some evergreens for privacy but may be tight for big rigs. We have a small 24' and it was roomy for us. I would have graded it a bit higher but the showers had mildew and there was no heat in the bathroom.
Stayed here off season, so no staff support. Right by landfill, so some noise and some smell with the wind blowing the "wrong" way. Lots of coyotes and trees and some full timers. Two beach access points across the street, one a trail. Walking distance to town - less than 2 miles one way. Would be a nice place for kids or a family gathering.
Well maintained park with concrete pads. Little or no shade. Pet friendly with a nearby walking area. Wi-Fi signal very strong. Walking distance to the Aviation Museum, but not to services. Exceptionally clean bathrooms and laundry rooms. Our charge included two dogs and reflects a Good Sam discount.
This was a friendly, quiet park. We decided to go home early due to family and they were very nice about it. No services within walking distance but it's convenient to the freeway (I-90). Would definitely stay here again.
