This is basically a large gravel parking lot behind the motel. I could not back into the site I was originally assigned because of a drainage channel that ran along the front of that and several other sites (my trailer is low to the ground and my stabilizer jacks drug on the ground when I crossed the channel). We had security-enabled internet access at the site and it had very impressive speed. I would look for another park to stay at if I were staying more than one night.

This park has spacious, well-spaced sites. Even though it is close to Highway 97 (the Alaska Highway) the highway noise is barely noticeable. The only improvement I would have for this park is the addition of more washers and dryers. This is a large park and when it is at least two-thirds occupied the number of washers and dryers (4 each) does not seem to be sufficient for the number of people who would be using them. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The park is small but well-maintained. Because of the large, mature trees, backing into a site can be a challenge. If you are not comfortable backing up your trailer into tight spaces, this park is not for you. Even though the park is just off the John Hart Highway, there is little road noise at night because of the light traffic. There is noticeable road noise during the day, however. Because of the tight quarters I would not stay here again.

There are no shade trees here, but that's not a bad thing because the trees would probably block the view of the magnificent mountains all around. The sites are level and have adequate spacing between them. The restroom and laundry facilities were spotless. We would stay here again.

The park has spacious sites and a few with wonderful views of the lake, especially sites 35 through 39, (we stayed in site 36). They have a restaurant on site but we did not eat there. There is a trail that goes west around the lake that provides a good opportunity for exercise. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to parks, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The sites for over-nighters are close together. We stayed here on a holiday week-end so the park was full, which made the sites seem even closer. The park is well-maintained and has a nice doggy trail at the rear of the park. We would probably stay here again.

The park has a nice view of Soap Lake and there are large trees scattered throughout the park. The sites were sufficiently wide and fairly level. We would stay here again.
