Not bad for a KOA. We stayed here a few years ago and it was not much. New owners are in process of upgrading it. We noticed the full time cabins were gone and the sites were a bit better. It is a great location for exploring Butte area. It is far enough off the freeway and fairly quiet. Did not use the restrooms, but did notice they are quite a hike from most sites. An employee told me they are going to build some new ones. We were there only one night and we will come back when passing through.
We opted for a waterfront pull in so that was $15 extra. Very nice site about 100 ft from the beach with a clear view. There are only about a half dozen of these sites so get there early. Big sites, wide roads throughout the park, widest we have ever seen in an RV park. There is a floating restaurant a half mile from the park. A bit pricey but they gave us a discount card at checkin. They had a very good early bird special for a reasonable price we heard. We ate late so we did not try it. Good access to highway in and out. A quiet park on a beautiful lake. Family type restrooms, clean and new. We are coming back for sure, we had a great time.
Beautiful setting, best showers we have ever seen in any RV park, shuttle to casino very nice. Two sewer connections at each site works for all model RVs. Would give it a ten but for lack of fire rings. We prefer a warm fire at night to top off a great day. They do have two large public fire rings but we were there 5 days and never saw a fire in either.
