I've read the other recent reviews posted here and have come to the conclusion that our disappointment with the RV park had to do with how filthy dirty the bathroom for the RV park is (which is located in an old hotel room at the rear of the hotel.). Because we were not using the shower/toilet in our rig, we were dependent on those offered by the park. Access to the bathroom facility requires a $10 deposit for 2 keys (refundable upon return). The bathroom condition is deplorable, unclean, and unsanitary. If you use your rig shower/toilet with full hookups, then you'll have no issue. The RV park itself is pleasantly laid out and in a great location. Nicely spaced and well lit. The condition of the toilet/shower area (which is only offered at the hotel) is not consistent with the rest of the park experience. If management could build a bath-house in the park area or gut and remodel the hotel room shower offered for RVers, this park could be top notch.
This was a single overnight stay for us. We arrived after dark. We had called earlier and were told to use the night drop box. The park appeared to be filled with long-term users. The park itself is old and does not have a neat and orderly layout like more modern parks, however it had the basics we needed for an overnight stay. The restrooms are adequate, water is hot, however we chose not to use the showers, which looked old and tired. We were up and out early but noticed the park offers RVers a morning continental Breakfast. They also offer AAA or Good Sam discount. There is a laundry room on site. For us, this is an OK site for a single night.
Great location! We are making note of this park as an overnight stop on the way south or west. Will not repeat too much what others have already said. Walkable to Clinton library. Fenced, code access needed, clean, nice restrooms which are individual private rooms. Great place overall!
