Park is dusty, but so are most of the parks in this area. Rate is for Passport plus $2 per night for 50amp. This is by far the quietest spot in Moab. Off the highway so very little road noise. Power and water good. Staff friendly. Not easy to manouver with big rig but can be done. WiFi worked ok for us but we were close to office. Would stay again.
Difficult to rate because of the residents of park. Park itself is good. Gravel sites, good power, and workcamper was very nice. Problem is all the energy workers and lots of trucks and cars in the park make it somewhat difficult to get in and out. No management on site (only workcampers as far as I could tell) so security is questionable. I would stay across the street at state park. Price is about the same.
Park recently purchased by Legacy RV Resorts. Needs lots of work. Sites dirty and lots of dirt instead of grass. Their "deluxe sites" not worth the cost. Very difficult to level and big drop offs. Trees not trimmed and entire area un-kept. Has great possibilities but will take time and money. Ass't Manager very nice at helping solve some of my complaints. Will check it out in about a year.
Very nice owner. Good power and water. He led me to a nice pull thru. I was lucky and got their early and got a site with grass. Most are dirt with little gravel. Park has no bath facilities and is for fully contained units only. Good overnight stop. Will stop again.
Wonderful young couple that are new (1 year) owners. They have a few sites able to handle 40' motorhome. WiFi works great. Very clean and owners are on site. There is some road noise otherwise would have rated higher. We will stay here again.
Very nice overnight spot. Easy access from I-29. They have about 12 paved full hook up sites with 50 amp.(newer section only 3 years old) Volunteer here said power in other sections of park was iffy but there were lots of people plugged in. Very nice Lewis and Clark display and security was good.
Only 3 sites with 50amp and they are next to the hiway. We took 30 amp and it was quiet after dark. Sites narrow (very close neighbors) but somewhat level. Owner very nice but place is for sale. Has to be hard to make it work in such short season. Needs TLC. Only show in town so would stay again. Rate is GS plus 10% tax rate.
Very overpriced. Crowded and noisy. Very disappointed. Too many ATV and motorcycles. No one checking the park after dark and no security. Would not recommend. Other parks in area just as nice but more affordable.
Outstanding park. Very quiet (no road noise) and owner and staff very accommodating. Previous post have been accurate. Rate is based on months stay. The club house is wonderful and we have enjoyed a nice fire in fireplace with the cool weather.
Stayed for two months while family member in Winston-Salem hospital. Owner could not be more helpful. One of the most helpful I have met in 5 years of fulltime RVing. He does have several sites that will accommodate large Motorhomes. We have 40' with 4 slides and had no problem. Park is about 8 miles off interstate and road is narrow but we had no problem. Park is spotless and owner is always in the area so very secure. Has great pool, playground, minigolf. Wonderful family campground.
Nice park in area with lots to do. Owner adding sites that will be ready in spring. Blue Ridge Parkway is 2 miles and New River State Park with 51 mile bike path is only 8 miles away. Wifi signal was good. Only downside is crooked road getting into area and some of the pull thrus are a little tricky getting around for big rigs. Will come here again and hopefully soon.
Just a rock parking lot, but cheap. Located about 10 miles southwest of Asheville. Good power and water but some traffic noise since you are only 50 feet from road and in middle of "good ole boy" country where all the trucks have loud mufflers. Good overnight spot.
Very nice owner that just brought the campground. Has entire family involved. Looks like old KOA. Needs lots of upgrades. Is very open and lots of views. Would stay again because of attitude of owner. Larger motorhomes that require good power take notice. 30 amp only and it is marginal voltage. As long as you are careful should be ok. We camped in hottest part of summer and had to be very selective on what we ran when the air (only one at a time was on.
After staying here two weeks would not recommend. Would stay in Banff NP. Baths and laundry very dirty. Lots of construction and permanents that drive way too fast in park. Sites too close together. Would not stay again.
This used to be the "Restwell Park" but is going through lots of changes, and is the only game in town is you want full hook-ups. We had nice site that was level and clear opening for good views. Sites were close together but we were lucky with neighbors. This will be a very nice park when they finish with construction. Lots of permanents but in separate area. Would use again.
Will agree completely with the previous review. Wonderful big rig sites. Lower rating is due to serious road noise from Hwy 3. Did subside somewhat during the night but not a place I would want to spend more than a night. (especially at these rates)
Absolutely most beautiful spot we have parked the RV. Very easy access for 40' MH. Almost anysize would have no trouble getting here. Also overpriced. No laundry or bath house. Not sure how they advertise tent sites when there are no bathroom facitilities. Lots of potential. Very nice management and workcampers.
Camped here on PA. Park is not suitable for large units when it is muddy. We almost got stuck. Turns very shape to get to the pull thru sites. Very nice mangagement and beautiful location. We camped here in 40' MH.
Easy for big rig. Roads are gravel in pull thru area. Sites could be more level. Common areas looked very nice but we did not use. Great playgroud for kids. Airport noise during daytime only. Very nice people and will use this park again.
Nice overnight stop. Road noise minimal. Nice facility. Would rate higher except for lots of pot holes in interior roads and the material that is used for the sites (some type local rock-dirt) is very messy when wet. Sewer hookup in hard to get to spot. Would use again.
WiFi is now at extra charge. Sites large and level. Road noise minimal. Did not like the fact that rigs came in at all times of the night shows lack of security. Workcampers very friendly and helpful. Would use as overnight.
Beautiful park with paved sites and right on the Snake River (Granite Lake). Bike, walking path runs by the park and you can take a jet boat trip up the Snake from here. Park is just behind a Costco and Albertsons. No road noise. Some boat and logging plant noise (across river) but certainly not distracting. Vehicle washing allowed. Nice destination park. Will return.
Very well marked entry and easy access. No road noise. Nice paved sites and can wash vehicles. Within walking distance of college and downtown. Helpful management and lots to do in area. All types of units in park and some seasonal but all in very good shape.
Very easy to find yet away from highway noise. There is a log plant next door but noise not bad in most sites. Some pullthrus have been updated with 50 amp. Most sites are 30 amp. Very clean and easy for big rigs. Good stock of rv parts and good prices. Would use this park again.
Good Wifi and cable hook up in office. Nice landscaping and level sites. Owners have done nice job with bad situation. They do not own land across the street and lots of local traffic right thru the middle of the campground. Not the best security situation. Some road noise in sites next to highway 101. Even with this drawback, it is best park in area. Would stay again.
Wonderful resort. They have high speed cable internet available at each site and campground is quiet. Only item that kept it from being a "10" is sites are sloped to the point that it is difficult to level. Facilities exceptionally clean.
Very overpriced park. Bathrooms dirty. Sites not cleaned of grass and mowing needed. No public phone at all. No modem hookup. Did have wifi but no other way to access internet. No one checking park to see if rules obeyed. Certainly not what I expected based on past reviews and on current ratings in other publications. Not a bad spot just not what was expected. Probably would not return unless management gets a grip on operations.
Very nice campground. Gave it a "7" because of road noise. Located next to I-90 so road noise in some sites is issue. They do have some that are away from road. Very nice owner. WiFi too expensive! Would use again as overnight park.
No trees but temperature not a factor during our stay. Beautiful views. Nice owner/manager. Close to road but no noise at night. Interior roads a little dusty is only reason for "8" rating. Vehicle washing allowed which is a big plus. Will return.
Nice sites if you like no trees. Beautiful views of lake and mountains. Quiet, peaceful with lots of space between sites. Good dump site. Be careful of pull thrus if long motorhome since they are curved. Already made our reservation to return in fall.
This rv park has turned into a zoo. Too many people partying and lots of noise. Road noise is terrible. Beautiful sites and cheap but you certainly would not go here for peace and quiet. Bathrooms not clean and cable did not work. Brought this to attention of front desk and they said "it is spotty at times".
Huge backin sites. Pull through sites are side to side hookup. Loop C would be the choice. Accepts reservations but not for specfic sites. Very well kept and has security. Very peaceful and scenic. Only reason for no giving a "10" is lack of phones and cell service is not good. Page, Arizona is about 5 miles south. Will use again.
