Nice campground, helpful and friendly staff. Sites were roomy and well kept. Family oriented with lots of kids on weekend, but no problems with noise or behavior. Can walk to battlefield and town from park, a long walk. Pricey on weekends, but Passport America during week was good. Would stay here again.
Sites are cramped and not level. WiFi was $5 charge per computer, the connection was slow and intermittent. When the office advised, they said "no guarantee: buy at your own risk." We stayed for 3 days, was ok, but wouldn't stay again.
Campsites are on grass, hookups and access great. Some muddy areas in the rain, but not too bad. Owners very helpful and friendly, work hard to keep area clean and neat. Wi-Fi was weak, but worked--some sites better than others. Bridge out between park and interstate, so call ahead for directions. Would stay here again.
When you stop here, you are "family". Meticulously maintained. Hot tubs are private and spotless. Winter home for a bunch of friendly "Snowbirds", with sites for transients usually available. Social activities every day, and if you are lucky you may hit one of their big parties. Great location for desert exploring: lots of local knowledge in the park. We go out of our way to spend a few days or weeks here.
Beautiful quiet setting with friendly helpful folks in charge. Sites and facilities are meticulously maintained. I got weak WiFi from my site. They are planning on putting in a stronger antenna. WiFi was good at the office.
