Blue Springs is one of our favorite places. We prefer sites 200-211. We especially like the fact that this is a family friendly resort and people are respectful. The crew at Blue Springs works hard to keep the camp looking great.
This is an amazing place to stay. We stayed at a lakefront spot, and had a beautiful view of the lake. This resort has it all-even a sauna in the shower area. You can rent golf carts to travel around the resort (it is hilly). You can also rent a boat from a marina across the lake. The marina will come pick you up. The only drawback of the resort is the location. It's about 40 minutes from The Branson area.
There are three campgrounds on Music Valley Dr. This one is the best of the three. They are still working on updating the sites. The section we stayed in had fresh new asphalt pads. It is close to the highway, so lots of truck noise, but we run a fan, so not an issue when sleeping. There is a shuttle service to the downtown area for $10. Might try that the next time.
Love love this campground! Just got back from our second stay. The park offers cable tv and wifi in the camp store and laundry house. Bring your bikes with you. They offer a team to the beach, as it's about a half mile walk. The campground offers a pool, which is clean and a nice break from the beach. Book early- sites go quick. Will stay here again next year.
This campground is a pretty good stop for an overnight stay. There is easy access from the highway. It's a former KOA. Some sites have broken pads and leveling was a bit tricky. Owners were friendly and helpful. We will stay again for an overnight.
We stayed here one night on the way home. It's right next to the highway, so there is noise, but if you need a place to spend the night, this fits the bill. There are two sections-30 amp and 50 amp. The 50 amp is closer to the highway. Our site was a pull through/50 amp. Leveling was fine. The owners are very nice and showed us to our site. They have a small but nice pool that we used to cool off from the hot humid day. We will stay here again if we pass by the area.
Really enjoyed this campground! Owners are super nice and have free coffee in the morning and popcorn at night. We stayed in a pull through with 50 amp and sewer. Nice level lot with good space between other campers. We also had good reception on the Dish network. The campground offers free WiFi is little slow, but good enough to check Facebook and email. The campground is very quite, even in the sold out time of July 4. Bailey's Harbor is centrally located in Door County. Other hot-spots are only 10-20 minutes away. Hopefully we will be back to stay again next year.
Excellent campground! We stayed here one night on the way to Door County. The park is VERY quiet. Campsites are nicely spaced and in great condition. I would have given it a 10 if they had sewer hookups. Will stay here again, maybe for a few nights longer.
We really enjoyed this park. Don't be concerned when getting off the highway and driving through an industrial area. It's located next to a boat marina and the park is gated. The sites are all gravel, which is why it only gets an 8 rating and not 10. The staff is very friendly and will help you into your site. They have a really nice pool, which we did not use. They also have a bar and restaurant which serves really good BBQ. We picked this park for the ease to the Quarter.. They offer a shuttle for $5 per person round trip. If the pick up/drop off times don't work for you, a cab company will take you downtown for $15. We will definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for an overnight stay, this is not a bad choice. It is located right off Hwy 55. The down side is that there is lots of highway noise. The campground is all gravel. When dry, that is not a problem, But I can see it being a mess in rainy weather.
