This is a nice and open park. The staff was very friendly. It is right off the interstate and good for touring the area or for an overnight stay. The wi-fi is very weak. Other reviews complained about the road noise from the interstate but we did not notice it. We would stay here again.
The road to the campground is narrow and with a few small hills but you can get there with no problems as long as you go slow. The pull-thru sites are very large and flat. The GC was very clean and quite. The grounds of the CG are very nice. It is only about 20 miles to Charleston from here and is the closest place we could find. It's location is good for seeing the area. We would stay here again if we were passing through because the pull-thru sites are large enough that you don't have to unhook your tow.
This was a very nice campground, had a very nice staff that was dog friendly. All the sites were flat and open. Each site had a nice grass patch for dogs. They don't offer Wi-Fi but Verizon will work. We would stay here again.
This campground is 16 miles from Colorado Springs, so you are going to be driving alot to see the site, eat out or buy food. The staff was friendly. We did enjoy the park but we would not stay here again because you have no Verizon cell phone or internet service. They offer free Wi-Fi but it did not work for most of the time we were here.
