Pleasant site - wooded and quiet with views over a lake available. Beware of which pitch you choose as we could not have 'pulled through' on our site with a 31 foot RV and had to back out (which put us very close to the people on the pitch behind). No sewage hook up available on this site so you have to use a dump station. Good facilities - crazy golf, boat hire, fishing equipment hire (buy a license before you get there as they do not sell them on site), swimming in the lake - enough to keep you busy for a day or two at the most.
This was a good base for us to stay for our last night before dropping our RV off in Orlando. I imagine it would be a good base to use for exploring the Orlando area. Friendly staff and a clean site. Facilities looked good although we didn't have a chance to use them (swimming pool etc). I would imagine that this is a very hectic place when fully occupied given that there are over 900 pitches. I would not want to be there then!
Nice staff, pleasant site, good facilities, but very noisy from the traffic on the nearby main road. We struggled to get any sleep and out of all the sites on our trip we would not stay here again because of that. If road noise doesn't bother you then its a good site to stay at.
Very clean, neat and tidy site. Very friendly staff. The only thing that lets this site down is that it is adjacent to a busy main road and does get traffic noise. Saying that, we would certainly stay here again as a base to explore. The site gave us a free newspaper and popcorn when we arrived which was nice!
Nice site with very friendly staff. Good facilities although the swimming pool is a little strange as it is only 4 foot deep at its deepest! Great base to explore Savannah from. Well stocked shop and gas station too! We would gladly stay there again. I believe that this site is now called Savannah Oaks RV Park.
The best and friendliest site we stayed on during our trip. The gentleman who seems to run the park, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. There is a large pool which is covered to stop bugs and very opulent facilities. Would definitely stay here again and use it as a base to explore a wider area.
Friendly staff and accessible to the Daytona raceway however on the night we stayed the swimming pool was out of commission which was disappointing. The pitch was a little over run which probably added to the number of mosquitoes around the place. Pitch was around $40 for the night.
This park was over priced. All the others on our trip worked out at less than $40 per night however this one was $80! The facilities were comparable to any other site - no better, no worse - however on the night we were there there was some live music organized by other campers which went on until 10pm (it stopped in time for the supposed quiet time between 10pm - 8am). After this stopped we could still hear music and talking/laughing/shouting until the early hours. By far and away the loudest site we stayed on during our trip. Also they charge $2.50 for crazy golf which is excessive given that its only 9 holes! The staff were friendly enough and the site/facilities clean but we would definitely shop around for a more competitively priced site next time.
