I found this campground through the Kingman Visitor Bureau. No website. Called to make reservations (none taken). OK for overnight stay, but dusty, lots of permanent residents, and close to busy street. Has a nice-looking pool, but found out (too late after a hot drive) that it closes at 6:00 PM! Price was OK and close to where we wanted to be and near a big shopping area, but would probably not stay there again. Address: 2360 Airway Avenue Kingman, AZ 86409
Very busy and closely packed, but the reason for being there is not the amenities. We were traveling with a family in a pop-up and they had a long hike to the showers w/ their children. We used our own shower, but we did use the laundry - same bldg. as the showers, so had to drive. Very convenient to all the sights, right on a tram stop. Would go there again!
Wonderful experience! No hookups, No pool, No activities, but what a place! Well kept NPS campground, very busy, but not hectic. Lots of shade in the tall pines, and very cool for being in the AZ desert. Hope to go again soon.
This is a nice campground for overnight stay. The sites are on a hill (so walking is mildly strenuous) but were level and adequate. Hookups are shared back-to-back with neighbor. It is close to St. George, Zions NP and lots of Redrock recreation. Our rate was C2C ($10) + utility fee ($3)
