We enjoyed our brief stay at Quail West and look forward to staying there on our return to Florida in the fall. The staff was friendly and helpful. It looks like a great place to spend the winter. There are many activities in the park during "season" and it is a short trip to many area attractions.
The website photos are very deceiving. The entry is attractive and it stops there. The sites are in need of cleaning and the weeds were at least 2 feet tall. It is not an easy in or out. Our site was level but others were not. There are a lot of full time residents and the trailers were in great disrepair. We were more than happy to leave and have marked it off of our list of RV Parks to visit again.
We planned on staying two nights and extended to two weeks. It is extremely clean, easy in and out, very Big Rig friendly. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The park is close to many attractions and shopping. The mix of seniors and families with young children is of no inconvenience to anyone. This is on my top ten RV Resorts to stay at and we will return here whenever we can.
We have stayed several times in this park and noticed it was beginning to decline. This year it looked to be poorly cared for. There are quite a few FEMA type trailers parked on the perimeter and several seem to house migrant workers. The pool is quite a distance from the actual campground and shared by a local YMCA. With other RV Parks in the area we will no longer stay here.
