Otter Lake is the campground you go to stay and enjoy yourself. It is a clean, safe, and wonderfully run campground. There is security at the gate, and a person that drives around in the day and at night keeping track of the happenings. Sites are relatively level, large, and are full of pea gravel. There are so many things for kids to do here. In season there is organized recreational activities for all ages. Bicycle riding is the preferred mode of transport within the grounds. We continue to make Otter Lake one of our summer camping experiences and hope to for years to come.
What can one say about Disney camping. We had a premium site that was concrete and level. There was plenty of room to back the camper into the spot. The baths and showers were immaculate, so much so that we didn't even need to use the camper's facilities. There are so many things to do here from visiting the parks to taking in the amenities of camping. Staff was wonderful and most accommodating. Yes, it was expensive from a camping perspective, and yet we enjoyed ourselves totally.
We had an excellent experience camping at Countryside. Upon our arrival we checked in with a wonderful young lady in the office. She provided us with a lot of information for both the site and the surrounding area. Our site was a gravel pull through and basically level. We only stayed here on an overnight stop but the attitude of the staff was great.
Overall the campground is your basic experience. Our site was a pull through and we were facing the entrance of the campers next to us. All the utilities worked well and we had some shade. The office staff was pleasant and helpful, especially with lending us a 50amp to 30amp conversion wire.
We stayed here for five nights in July and had a wonderful experience. It appeared that the majority of sites are full time seasonal and yet there were a fair amount of other campers here for a few days or weeks. The campground was clean and very well maintained. During the week it was mainly adults and full timers who were around but on the weekend many of the families including children and grandchildren were around. There were no restroom facilities that we could find and no pool. Nevertheless our site was a concrete pad, well spaced with our neighbors and lots of room all around. Everyone around here was friendly, and it appears that most of them drive around in golf carts. We would come back here again.
We camped here for one week. The site we were given was nice, in the middle of pine trees. The pad was crushed gravel and sand for the camper, the rest of the site was pine needles. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. All utilities were easy to access and hook up to the camper. It was easy access to all the area amenities such as the beaches or Exeter if you like to head into a small town. We would stay here again.
