Very nice campground, clean, nice level concrete sites. Roads are narrow and I can see how longer rigs with toads could have an issue navigating. Very nice place. I would stay here again. Just on our way through to Florida and perfect for overnight with hookups. Quiet location. Friendly staff.

Nice, clean, lots of seasonal sites. No full hookup sites and no Wi-Fi available. Low hanging trees and tight turns for larger rigs. Nice location close to town, within walking distance, which is why we camped here. We would consider camping here again.

Overall a very nice campground. Large level sites, very clean pool, bath house, and laundromat. Nice level pull-through sites, nice level grassy sites, decent sized. Wi-fi very spotty for us as we were in the farthest corner from the office. Also, our site was in a corner and was smaller than most, not helped by the fact that our neighbor decided to park off the gravel on the lawn closer to our site. Close to Disney and other attractions. Shuttle service to Disney at $10/person/day which can add up if you don't have your own vehicle. We would camp here again.

This is our favorite campground and this is the 4th year we've camped here. Large sites, nicely paved, lots to do, lots of room to move around. Very large sites, large clean pool, easy access for all size rigs. Lots of construction in the Horse Park this year due to the World Equestrian Games next year, so navigating the park is a bit trickier. We will likely be back again next year.

Very nice clean, quiet campground, right on a small lake. Hiking trails, small store. Paved, level sites, most with electric only, and only a few with full hook-ups. We enjoyed our stay; the only complaint is that the mosquitoes were vicious the night we were there. We would stay here again.

This is a good basic campground to use as a home base while visiting the area. Level sites, though a bit small, but full hook-ups. Rear sites are quiet and away from traffic. Road in the rear is a bit narrow and may be difficult for larger rigs. Our 33' MH just fit onto our site. The price was right considering we were just overnighting here and needed hookups; did not want to pay the $75 other campgrounds were asking and did not need any amenities (ie pool, game room, etc). We would camp here again.

Very friendly staff. We camped here early in the season and had a problem with the water and cable TV, which were fixed immediately and cheerfully by the staff. We arrived late and they stayed in the office to assist us. Clean sites but a bit small. Roads are very narrow with close trees, making it a bit tricky to navigate with a large motorhome. I believe the rates are higher during the peak season. We would camp here again.

This is a very small yet clean park with all of the amenities you'd need. Recently updated electrical power boxes, water, sewer, and cable. Pool small but clean. Sites adequate but not large. Several playgrounds, nice landscaping, clean. On the Williamsburg Area Transit line, which is why we camped here (no car, just a motorhome). This is a place to stay if you are seeing attractions. It is not a place to get away from it all. There is traffic noise and trains. We knew this going in and it didn't bother us. We would stay here again. Very close to attractions. The only thing we didn't like: the buses do NOT run on Sunday, which surprised me, as this is a Tourist Town. But that had nothing to do with Anvil. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Quiet, clean campground bordering the Natchaug State Forest. Lots of well-maintained seasonal sites, a nice pond with beach as well as a large, clean pool. Lots of activities for kids, large rec hall, evening entertainment (bands, magicians). Roads are narrow, lots of close trees, large rigs must go very slow. Decent level sites. Only complaint is that the website doesn't show that only 2 pets per site and they didn't ask when I made the reservation (we always camp with our 3 smaller dogs). Website needs revamping, difficult to navigate. Dump sites near the entrance but they ask that you use the rear exit when leaving (hard to do if you need to dump!) All in all a clean, well-kept family park. Lots of families, kids, and dogs, so if you're looking for solitude this isn't the place.

We arrived after the office staff had gone (they left at six pm, we arrived at 7:30pm). They had left a list of sites available for those of us without reservations. Unfortunately they left no maps and we were left wandering very narrow roads trying to read number markers which were only on the BACK of the poles. No signs unless you had already started down a road, no signs visible from the parking/registration area. Very narrow roads with drop offs of several inches, very tight turns, difficult to navigate with a large MH. Sites decent sized, lots of trees. Literature given at registration (next morning) still had no maps and I found out after returning to my MH that it was also a Good Sam park and they did not ask if I were a member to get the discount. Free, reliable WIFI, nice sized pool. Would return for a longer visit.

State park feel, very rustic, wooded, secluded. Front of park had ball fields, playground, picnic area. Camping in the rear on a wooded hill. Narrow roads with low-hanging trees. There were sites to accommodate our 33' rig (back in) but not sure I'd venture in there in a much larger rig. We camped at the far loop and it was difficult to back in due to trees and roots. Nice place to go for an overnight (quiet) or to get away from it all. Not a destination campground unless you're roughing it or escaping. No resort amenities. Liked it and would camp there again. I just pulled off the interstate to overnight it here.

Sites very narrow but adequate. Full hookups. Nice family of ducks. Pool small but adequate and clean. On trolley route to Pigeon Forge. Would stay here again. WIFI worked well.

Clean, well maintained. Brick patios at each site. Site size average. Pool clean and well maintained. WIFI worked, no issues (need to get password from store, $3 per day honor system). We just stayed overnight (just passing through) so didn't use the amenities. We would camp here again.

Campground is very clean and quiet. It is also very small. Sites are small, most are pull-through with gravel. Picnic table and fire ring provided. Camp store well stocked, bathrooms immaculate, laundry on site. Planned activities on the weekends. Very friendly proprietors on site. We would stay there again.
