We love Topsail. This continues to be our favorite campground along the Gulf and maybe of all locations we have visited. Grounds are aways keep immaculate and the extra vegatation between the sites offers additional privacy. Sites are concrete and level so no side to side leveling has been required on any of the sites we have used. Bathhouses are alway clean. Campground staff are always friend and very helpful, giving directions and recommendations etc.. We have reservations for Oct 2007 as well as June 2008 already on the books. The only negative comment I have is the modem line at the club house is very slow and since there is only one it make it difficult to use it. I have heard rumor that wifi is on the drawing board and will be welcomed addition.

This was our first time to stay at a campground at Navarre, having visited about 6 yrs ago and used condos. We were very pleased with the campground and will return again. We were on site A5 which was 5 sites back from the sound. We have a very large shade tree that covered a good portion of the site and as a result did not extend the awning. Some sites have concrete runner to back onto and others are just sand, crushed shells etc. Site was relatively level with minimal amount of leveling with boards required. Kids loved the waterfront area, swimming and looking for hermit crabs etc. Lots of folks were fishing late in the evening but I did not see anyone catch a fish. Bathhouse, pool house and laundry were all very clean and fresh smelling. Pool was larger than other campground pools I have visited. Only 4 ft deep at the deepest point so it was great for my little kids. Teenagers would have like it more if had been deeper but they did not complain. Teenagers and adults enjoyed the hottub as well. Staff was very nice, always speaking and constantly on the move as they escort incoming visitors to their sites. Registration was fast and easy with cheerful person handling the details. Only negative I have is having to pay for extra for more than two people especially since the campground was more expensive than what I am accustom to paying. I did fill one propane tank there and cost appeared to be reasonable.

This was our first time to Little River Village but will not be the last. Our site (26) was tucked away in a corner and a little difficult to get into but was adequately size, relatively level and concrete patio was great for kids. Campground had special activities planned for kids to celebrate Halloween which our kids, me too, enjoyed. Bath house was immaculately clean and saw them being cleaned numerous times each day. Lot of care was taken to keep falling leaves removed from the road and sites. We are thinking about 2007 reservations for the same time next year as this trip was just about as perfect as one could expect.

This is a fantastic campground. Plenty of shade, sites were large and level. Most back up to one of the several streams that run through the CG. Owner escorted us to the site, helped us back in and level the TT. Actually he told me if I parked the TT where he directed to I would be level side to side and I was. Sites and road are gravel but even after 2 1/2 inches of rain overnight they were never muddy or was any standing water noticed. Playground, game room, carpet golf and pool for the kiddies. Fishing from stream is free and no license is required. CG was nice and quite even with a good number of children playing. Stream noise was pleasant and helped drown out other noises. Store was adequately stocked and staff were extremely pleasant. We will definitely return, if not this fall, next spring.
