This is our favorite campground. We stay here once a month during the season. The hosts are friendly, the campground is beautiful and clean. There is a nice clean pool, and shaded spots to park. It is quiet (except for some interstate traffic noise), and there is help available for any problem. The shower house is always clean and hot water is plentiful. The owners are very good about keeping up the campground and keeping it quiet. There's not a lot for kids other than the pool and a basketball hoop, but for old geezers like us, it's perfect!
I would avoid this campground at all costs. We were desperate for a place to stay. We racked up the bottom of the motorhome going down a steep hill with huge, really huge potholes. We drove around to pick our own spot, as there was no office. A lady came by to take our money, and when we told her we had damaged our unit, she replied with "oh." There were people living here full time in cars, tents, trailers. I didn't see any security. It was frightening to me. We left early in the morning. We would not go back.
This was the most quiet campground where we have ever camped! It was rather like camping in a farmer's field, but it was clean and well taken care of. The gentleman owner was friendly, and we were very comfortable. There wasn't much here for children, but then it was the off season while we were here, and there were children here who seemed very happy playing volleyball, etc. We were initially only going to stay one night, and ended up staying three. There are many things to do in the area, and a lovely town nearby. Showers were a little dated, but clean with hot water, so that's ok with us.
This was a great campground! The facilities were clean, as was the campground. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and gave us much information on the area. We stayed 3 nights. The only problem we had was that the well went out in the morning, and we had no water. They were trying to fix it as we left. We would definitely stay here again.
This may have been a beautiful place, but there was no service. We arrived at 7:00 and the office was closed. We had to walk around the park with a flashlight trying to find an available spot. There was no one to guide us in, and it was a difficult spot to get into. We left in the morning about 10:30. Still the office was closed. We therefore, didn't have Wi-Fi, and didn't really enjoy the campground. Why would a campground close so early in the evening, and open so late in the morning???
This is our favorite little campground. I hesitate to recommend this place for fear there won't be room for us next time we camp here. The owners, Cliff and Krista are very cordial(and their kids are so cute), and Will is friendly and helpful, too. This is a beautiful shaded and quiet campground. It is near the interstate, so there is some travel noise, but a white noise machine does the trick for me. The showers and restrooms are roomy and always clean. The pool is clean and inviting. There is a small playground and a nice shelter for groups. This campground is the best kept one we've ever been to, and has become our favorite! They are in the process of adding more campsites. Our 37 ft. motorhome had no trouble negotiating the turn into the place. We look forward to our times here! It is a "Komfortable Kamp!"
