I reviewed this park back in April 2006 and wish to retract some of what I said then. This park is now an absolute dump and should only be used as a last resort. The operator acts like he really doesn't want customers any more. He claimed to have only one spot available when he had several. We tried to take that one but it smelled so bad of sewer that we got our money back - with difficulty - and left.
This is a very nice park and I agree with the previous ratings. However, for a park of this caliber there are a few problems that stand out. The cable TV system does not work at most sites. The WiFi - which is not free - works poorly at best. Finally, the management appears to be pulling a scam with the evening buffet at the on site casino. Even though most of the tables were empty they told us that it would be at least an hour wait to be seated. Upon park check in you get a coupon for a buy one get one free at the buffet. That sounds like a real good deal but I am afraid they are setting people up to play the slots while they do the built in wait for dinner.
If you want to stay in a new park with a large mall right across the street, has small spaces, narrow access, no grass, no table and is noisy, this is the place. To top it off it's probably over priced. I believe there are better options in the Gilroy area.
This used to be a KOA. It is slightly run down but it has a location that is fairly convenient to the Nashville area. It is quiet and the price is right. We stayed a week and were comfortable with it. It looked like the owner was in the process of putting in some new sites - probably with 50 amp service. This park is located about a mile east of I-65 at exit 46 and it not listed in any of the major camping directories.
The couple who run this park are absolutely great. We checked in during a snow storm and they even came by after we got settled and asked if we needed anything. The interstate and the main line railroad tracks are far enough away so noise is not a problem.
