We had tried two other campgrounds before coming here and were pleased with what we found. We found a lovely shaded spot. The campground is quiet, has nice views from some areas, and is a nice location to visit Morro Bay, Los Oso, San Luis Obispo and Baywood. The site we camped in had full hookups and was level. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely camp here again.
We stopped here to attend their Saturday night Salmon bake which is good food and entertainment. The campground has been improved significantly since the last time we were here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The site we stayed in was not level so our tires were off the ground. Also, the bathroom is in the tent area and was quite a distance from where we camped. There are only two or three stalls which service a large number of tent campers. There were wires strung from some of the tent sites to electrical outlets. Even with the inconveniences we would camp here again, but would make sure at reservation time that we had a level spot.
We pulled into the parking area and thought we were at an RV Storage facility. The camping fee is scheduled to go up to $25 on August 1 and it does not include the dump fee. Parking area is in need of care and tables at campsites are in dismal shape. The camp host is friendly and the location is convenient to the freeway and town, but this is not a place we'd want to stay here for more an overnight stop.
We were delighted when we arrived at this park. The sites are paved and very large. The park has a nice picnic area, boat launch ramps, fishing piers, and playground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained. The park overlooks both a lake and a river. Beautiful setting, beautiful sunsets. Can't say enough about this park.
We found the park to be very dated and in great need of a little tender loving care. If you want Internet you have to take your computer into the office and they will connect it for you. In order to do so they need your MAC address. We were not comfortable with that. Also, you can only have one computer hooked up to the Wi-Fi per site. This is a restriction we have never encountered before. The park is convenient to downtown Long Beach.
The sites in this park are very close together but if you can get by that the park is convenient to public transportation into Seattle, the managers are very nice and helpful. The park tenants were very friendly and the laundry facilities, clubhouse, and restrooms were clean. Good value camping.
A nice clean campground in a wooded area. Close to Missoula. Facilities are somewhat dated but clean. Their laundry facility is outside and only cold water wash and clothes line are provided. The staff and other tenants were very friendly. Would definitely stay there again -- lots of sightseeing opportunities in the area.
The park is a short distance from Virginia City. The owners/managers are very friendly, helpful and knowlegable about the area. The park is well maintained -- laundry facilities and bathrooms are very clean. We enjoyed our stay here.
We loved this park. Beautiful setting close to Yellowstone Park. The camp hosts were extra friendly and helpful. We stayed here using Golden Access pass so we had a reduced rate on our camping but took advantage of the electrical hookup for an additional charge each night. There is no dump available but there is water available for RVs should you need it.
Nice park with friendly staff. Very close to the freeway but we heard no road noise. Nice lake and grounds. There is no dump available at the park but there is one at Bob's Quick Stop very near the park.
We arrived to find that there is no water available for RVs to take on board. The camp host was kind enough to call the neighboring group camp and make arrangements for us to get water for a small charge. We enjoyed seeing Sunset Volcano Monument (the visitor's center is across the street). Also close by is Wupatki National Monument which was very interesting to visit. The park itself is very nice. Enjoyed our visit. We stayed here with a Golden Access Pass.
This was a stop over for laundry and shopping. Nice clean park with friendly staff. We stayed here on Passport America rates and cash was required for the camping fee. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for two night on Passport America. We were extremely pleased with the park. The staff is very friendly and the park is well maintained. It is in a convenient location for sightseeing and is right off the freeway. Even though we were by the freeway there was no noticeable road noise. We would definitely stay here again.
What a nice campground. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and well maintained with spacious sites. Really enjoyed our stay here. Although there are some sites that are on a first come, first serve basis, we would recommend reservations as this campground - was very busy when we were there.
This is an OK park to stay overnight. The restrooms and laundry are dated and the grounds not real well maintained. Convenient to Eisenhower Museum and Library. There's a convenience store on the grounds and a nice lake.
We really enjoyed this park. The park is small and the campsites aren't all level, but we lucked out and got a nice level site that was next to a large green area. We felt like we had a private yard, even though the rest of the campground was pretty tight. We would definitely stay here again.
If location is all you're concerned about, this park is OK; convenient to New York City by rail, car, or ferry. There are relatively nice views of NYC at night. The campground itself is rundown with lots of junk stored around the property. Restrooms and other buildings are in terrible shape. The staff is not helpful nor friendly. Fortunately, it does have full time security.
