A nice and well maintained campground. We have camped here several times and always enjoyed it. Good paved interior roads perfect for bike riding. RV sites are all paved or concrete and pretty level with many sites that can accomandate big rigs. Close to the beach and not far from shopping and dining areas in Gulf Shores, Foley and Orange Beach. The park is still recovering from the hurricane a few years back but new construction is coming along. Most of the trees were killed by the hurricane and saltwater but still a very nice campground.
We camped here in 2008. A really nice campground. Very clean and well kept. Nice grounds with flowers and well manicured grass areas. Extremely friendly staff. This was a busy time of the year for them and we called trying to arrive early and they managed to get us in a day before we had reservations. It is far enough off the main roads to be peaceful and quiet. After checking in, they have escorts that lead you to your site. They can fill propane onsite and have several things in the office you can purchase. I would have given them a 10 but the sites are gravel and some unlevel, of course it is the mountains. We would definitely stay here again.
