Well, this campground was fantastic. Only what we have become to expect from the KOA family. Pool was very large, clean and indoors with a hot tub which was nice, clean and well cared for. Staff was courteous and kind at most every turn. Very, very kid friendly, and a joy to stay there. The ranger evening staff was kind and it was nice to them walk through the sites and say hello.
This campground, with its beautiful sites and view, was VERY unfriendly and generally seemed to be a retirement type atmosphere more than any other during our vacation in Yellowstone area. They have minimal area for the children to play. There was more for pets than kids. The area was clean, but the people staying there were intolerant of any 'shenanigans'.(especially by children) They promised a full hook up, which they did not have available. Then parked another campers equipment on our site, blocking our view of the mountains. Unfortunate, but probably the worst of our stays was here, and we promptly left and went to the KOA where the price was higher, but worth it.
