The rate was $400 a month including utilities. All days over the three months were $25 each. This is a large grassy, usually water logged and muddy park. The roads have huge potholes, and there is no security. This is not a typical park but is filled with construction workers. The showers and laundry are minimal and not recommended. I was here only for the convenience of the area in visiting my family. Otherwise I would never stay there. The adjoining Shelby Farms Park with its many trails and dog park is a big plus, but the RV park is just that, a place to park.
Beautiful park, nicely landscaped, helpful staff. The pool with waterfall looks over the river. Security is good with a coded gate. The park is 15 minutes from the French Quarter where parking is impossible, but the park provides free shuttle service three times daily and a taxi number for late returning. There is even a park guest who offers dog sitting services. A good choice for a safe and convenient stay.
It has very nice staff but this place is definitely not worth the price. It is all sand and gravel and very plain. The cable channels were very limited but the Wi-Fi worked well. For the same price I have been staying in lovely parks with very nice amenities. This may be my last stay in an over-priced KOA.
Lovely park with many amenities and easy to find for this one nighter. Big wide spaces, trees, friendly folks and easy access off Interstate 10. I stayed only one night in a trailer with two dogs. Would definitely return.
Very clean, well managed park. Private shower rooms, pretty pool and lake, large laundry area. Some grass, but mostly concrete. Security code for gate day and night. Convenient and safe. Stayed four days with two dogs in trailer. Highly recommend.
