A camp with potential. Unfortunately, it is just not there yet. Give it 5 years and it will probably be a nice site. Friendly and helpful staff. Rough on big rigs, the roads are gravel that really needs smoothing. No Wi-Fi. 30 amp service only. Wouldn't recommend for motorhomes or large 5th Wheels.
The best part of this campground is the friendly and helpful owners. They really try to make the stay a great experience. We stayed in a shaded site and glad we did! The other sites were out in the open and could get quite warm. It's right on the Yellowstone river and the views are terrific. Peaceful benches where you can see wildlife and just zone out from your travel. We would highly recommend a stay and think you will richly remember the experience.
Good stop for overnight, easy off and on the interstate. Very friendly staff who even show you to the right site. Good facilities, equipment. Overall we would recommend it and would probably stay here again if in the area.
We arrived on a Sunday and the office is only open Mon. to Sat. However, our arrival package was ready for pickup with directions to our site and internet access and laundry/shower codes. When we made our reservation we were sent a confirmation by e-mail. Overall the park is clean and well maintained. Most of the sites are permanent party and a few of the sites look like squatters live there. Good space between the rigs. Easy access to the beach and a quick jump to Vancouver. We would probably stay here again since it is the best in the area.
Overall we would rate this park as very good for the area. We were surprised that Seattle didn't have more to offer along I-5 or 405 route. We stayed here three nights. As the other writer's have commented, the staff person we met really needs an attitude adjustment. If he is a work camper he needs to be in some other line of work. But, later on we needed internet access and the staff we met was very friendly and helpful. You can wash your rigs and the park encourages you to do so on their channel 3 broadcast. Wi-fi is extra $$$. For the price of the site it should be free. Overall easy access to downtown if you don't mind Seattle traffic. We would stay here again because of the scenery.
We stayed for three nights. The park is small but very well kept. The owner/manager always seems to be working on the facility. A little difficult for big rigs to get around, but once you are in, there is a good spread between sites. Not much highway noise from 101. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. We have U.S. Cellular and the signal was strong. If we came through this area again we would stay here. Probably the best site in the area.
If you need a quick stay at a reasonable price try this campground. Don't let the name of Trailer Village scare you away. However, there are some long term rigs; but most are very well kept. The park is owner occupied and run. Had difficulty getting satellite but cable and Wi-Fi work great. Walmart, Home Depot and practically any other major store you can think of, just 2 miles away and it's an easy drive. Very clean and the owners are constantly on site cleaning things up. We would stay here again, but only short-term due to the closeness of the other units.
We stayed at Mountain View for 2 days. The park was great. Good views from the upper deck. If possible ask for any of the upper deck sites. We needed 50 amp service and had no problems. The park is owner staffed and they have great recommendations for tours of the area. The Wi-Fi worked great with a good signal. If you are just making a short stop to visit Devil's Tower we would highly recommend this park. We didn't use the laundry or showers. Cable TV costs extra but Wi-Fi is free.
A very nice RV Park. The sites are clean and for the most part level. If you have a big rig you will probably be placed on a site that is not quite level but that is easy to cure with some jacks. There are tall pines at each site so don't plan on getting satellite reception. Antenna works OK, but you only have one or two channels. Wi-fi works good and is not hard to connect. Staff very friendly and offers a variety of camp type services i.e. breakfast, hot rolls and a host of other goodies. A great place to visit Glacier from. Hard to see when approaching because of large trees blocking the entry sign. Host has published good GPS coordinates, so use the them. Easy access for motorhomes & 5th wheels. We would stay here again.
A good RV Park which has easy access and is clean. We stayed 4 nights. We were parked in the bottom half of the park and thought it was great. Well, that was until the train came rumbling through. Our motorhome was about 100yards from the tracks. It was not too bad though, there are only one or two trains a day somewhere between 5 and 9pm. Also, we needed to have our water heater replaced and found an ad in the park handout. The repair man is Harold and does an outstanding job. If in need of emergency repair call Harold. He comes when he says, does a great job and charges a fair price.
