Awesome state park with clean concrete sites situated around lakes, each with a picnic table, fire pit, and shelter. Trails for walking and very clean shower/restroom facility. The only downside is that, in the section we were in, only electric is available. Water and dump station located at entrance. Another section with full hookups is being developed, should be open by fall 2007. Only nice RV park in the Longmont area that we could find, after visiting the other two.
We stayed here during the winter and enjoyed the river view from our site. Very clean and well maintained. Sites are somewhat narrow and close together but each has a concrete pad with a picnic table. Great place to stay in summer to access the Guadalupe River for tubing, canoing, and swimming. Well stocked camp store.
Wonderful country setting between Dripping Springs and Blanco. Interior roads and sites are crushed granite. Beautiful landscaping and wide, shaded sites with 30/50 amp, water and sewer hookups. 27 acres of the gorgeous Texas hill country to enjoy with nature trails. Very peaceful and pet oriented. The owners are on site and friendly. We enjoyed the month we spent here, it was like having your own place in the country with room to roam. The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas!
