Nice location on jetty protected waterfront area along the harbor shore. Grass area's and gravel roads throughout park. Lots of long term, seen better days, trailers in some area's of park but worth at least an overnight stay. Good eats close by within walking distance. We will stay here again.
Nice accommodating staff, clean treed spaces and quiet for it's freeway close location. Good overnight spot with convenient pull through,s. 1 out of 2 showers in men's and women's rooms out of service for remodeling resulted in a 20 minute wait for a shower. Other than that we will stay here in our travel trailer again.
Its all about the sights and sounds of the ocean here. The view is a 10, but the traffic and crowds from the integral county park detracts from the overall experience. It's still the best RV park we've found for being right on the blue water ocean. Also close by food, attractions and shopping within walking distance. Party boats for fishing within walking distance also. Semi clean, hot showers for $1.25 for 7 minutes. This county owned facility tries hard and it shows, though. Park is clean and well run. We camped in a pull through space and will stay here again.
We agree with the other post's: OK for a short stay. Kind of like camping at Wal-Mart with hookups. Site 14 has OK wireless internet and a very good view of the loading dock with semi-trailers up close and personal. When we dumped our tanks, we found out that the underground piping won't accept full release at once and the overflow can get you wet. You have to start and stop the flow to not overwhelm the piping. OK casino and restaurant in a gritty area. Very good museums depicting the past glory days of mining 100 years ago and are well worth a visit. Adjoining market is a plus.
