We were given a complimentary pass to stay at the park for two nights. The park is very well maintained and has full hookups and very easy to access, decent sized sites. By decent sized, I mean we were able to get the slides and awning out and not feel that we were inches from our neighbors. The park has some nice amenities and is within walking distance of Camping World, which is nice if you have to pick up any supplies. Overall, a nice park if you are passing through or if Tucson is your destination. We are more interested in nature settings, but is was a good experience.
We stayed here for one night only on a trip across the state. It was relatively easy to access right off Highway 1 and the staff was accommodating to give me a pull through site, considering it was an overnight only stay. The setting was nice with dog walk areas and some nature trails accessible from the campground. However, the sites were really tight with no privacy from your neighbors. Additionally, they do have the outstanding views of the ocean but are across the street on the opposite side of the highway. There is no cross walk in the immediate area so no way to cross safely to access the ocean. Overall, we didn't think the park was worth the expense and are unlikely to stay here again.
