This campground was fine for a one-night stay. The water pressure is 30 psi. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We had a pull-through site that was large, and close to the office, which also has a store. It was convenient to the interstate, but not so close that you can hear the cars. We liked it here.
The park is within walking distance to all the Graceland exhibits. We felt secure here. The park is crowded, even on weekdays. We were impressed that they had a lift for handicapped accessibility to the pool. Nice dog-walking area. The FedEx jets were loud enough to make the dog bark. I work for FedEx, so I explained to her that FedEx is paying for her dog food, so she was okay with the noise from then on. This is a perfectly acceptable place to stay if you are visiting Graceland.
Stayed one night on our way through. It's right across the street from the beach. It was a long walk from our site to the office. There is a shortage of trash cans. There was a lot of broken glass along the fence line and there are tiny burrs everywhere. Watch your dog's feet. Other than that, the place was fine.
This park is quite new-looking. The concrete pads are level. There is a small playground and a large deck with picnic tables that overlooks the Kentucky River. Some of the back-in sites were shady. The pull-through sites are large, and there was plenty of room between them. The campground is quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed spending the night here on our way through.
This was our second stay. It is a beautiful, well-maintained and professional operation. Sites are close together, but there are hedges for privacy and the neighbors are quiet. Really nice bathrooms and laundry room.
After our 3rd stay, this is still our favorite park. There is a pool in the park, but it is not in the camping area. There is also tennis, golf, bike rentals, water skiing, tubing, water slides, and many other activities. Our dog enjoyed seeing all the frogs and lizards, and other critters she has never seen before. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is that they don't have Cable TV. We really enjoyed watching the Chinese Kung Fu movie that was dubbed in French. It was a hoot!
This was our second stay here. We love this place! They have since added Wi-Fi. The staff said that it is weak, but we did not have any problems with it. Enjoyed the wild parrots, but the huge racoons were a little scary. They seem to hang out in the parking lot and don't come around the campsites, though. Weather was lovely. People were water-skiing on Thanksgiving, if you can imagine! We highly recommend this campground.
This park is gorgeous. Concrete pads are level and beautifully landscaped. The pool area is tops! They've got a large pavilion with lots of activities and a huge fireplace. They have fishing boats and pedal boats available. There are back-in sites with views of the lake. There was a crafts class going on for the kids when we were there. The store has lots of RV supplies, but no groceries. There is a lounge with a large television and reading materials. They thought of everything here! No problem with the Wi-Fi. There are two truck stops and a grocery store nearby. Avoid the Citgo station. It is a ripoff. Easy access to the highway. Lots of big rigs. We will return. Highly recommended.
Nice place for an overnight stay. Wi-Fi was good. Lots of cable channels. Level gravel sites (they let you pick your own). Easy access from the highway. The coolest thing about this campground is that it is on land that was owned by Eng Bunker (one of the original Siamese twins) and still belongs to the Bunker family. Eng's house is still standing on the property.
Good park for an overnight stay. Sites are somewhat close, but there is still room for slide-outs and awnings. The restrooms were immaculate! Friendly staff, they will work with you on late arrivals. There is a supermarket within walking distance across the street.
Beautiful park. Setting feels remote, but is close to shopping, food, etc. The enormous Sawgrass Mills mall is just up the street. All the pads are asphalt, but some pull-throughs make you park on a curve. Although this is a county park with activities for locals, it is very quiet and serene. Security (quietly) made rounds all night. We will stay here again.
