This park is a real gem. Only park that accepts PA discount for July and August. Large pull through sites, all grass. Close enough to all attractions. Fire pits, pet friendly, laundromat and clean restrooms. WIFI was weak at sites but good at the office. Site slightly slanted but able to cope. Camped here in the first week of August and were the only people here. Better than W/M or boondocking. Would absolutely stay here again. Come on people,,,,great park for day adventures. Cons....no pool, weak WIFI. Pros....quiet, grass, large sites, driving range.
Roads are very narrow. You need to go down the street to a gravel area, do a U-turn and come back. No easy exit. No cable TV, Wi-Fi (Internet) only available in one building. Pools are closed until summer weather. Dog park at one end of a large park. Garbage in one area only. Very expensive for what is offered. Rate is $45 for low season and $70 for high. We stayed with our Coast to Coast membership.
Checked in and was told "no clubhouse, no internet, no pool, no hot tub...all due to a fire". The internet got up and running later, but it is paid internet. Was here last year and found out the pool is solar heated so is not turned on until late April and has not been running during winter months for a few years. I have always felt this is false advertisement when the campgrounds say "heated pool" and it is only heated during summer months. Rate was based on C2C, part of the Sunrise groups, so hopefully things will improve.
Quiet park away from town. Rooster crowed in the morning. Best thing about the park is the people. Our car broke down and everyone offered help including the use of a car until ours was repaired. The WI-FI was very fast and I used a tailgater dish for satellite TV. The owners are willing to do whatever it takes to keep the park full. NO....I am not a relative or friend. A Canadian snowbird getting a lot for my money. A real pleasure to find this jewel. Rate reflects PA. Will be back.
Rate reflects Passport America. Beautiful campground and all amenities work very well. Large sites with cement pads both for RV and car. WiFi was very good and we not have to pay for it. Two big drawbacks: grass sites and gravel sites. Grass sites are near amenities, but only one garbage dump at the entrance to park. Sprinklers come on at 4:00 am and the grass is wet until just about noon. All lawn chairs etc. need to be taken off lawn at night. When the grass is cut and wet, you track lots of cuttings in and out of RV. Would stay again but on a gravel site.
This would be a good park IF they would not try to turn us all into sardines. Sites are very tight and some people could not get into the assigned site. Very few sites have a view and most sites were either facing another rig or looking at the back of the unit. Good pool, hot tub. Very nice washrooms. Rate reflects a Passport America discount. Would not stay here long term, but great for overnight stays. Wi-Fi is extra, but good cable TV.
We stayed here from October 2012 to end of January 2013. Rate reflects a monthly rate. All amenities listed on the web site were there and in good working order. It is a large area for the number of units, so it did not feel crowded. We joined all the activities and were accepted like we had been there for years. Unique to this park is the amount of live entertainment that is brought in, usually twice a week, plus a dance every week. We were made to really feel welcome and the people make this park what it is. Good Wi-Fi. No hidden fees. They have mail service. We would return without hesitation. Job well done by management. Monday morning doughnut meeting is a must.
