This is a national forest campground and is a primitive facility. Meaning there are very clean pit toilets and lots of available faucets for drinking water. Otherwise there are no added amenities. This is basic camping in every way. The campground is perfect. We will definitely stay there again.
Really nice park. Large pull through sites. Grass and shade at every site. Clean bathrooms, great water pressure. Really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I gave them a 9 because the dog area is nothing more that a rock path with no grass. It seems like dog friendly only means you can have one. It was 112 degrees during the day. My Jack Russell found it a bit too hot to walk on.
Nice park. Built into a hillside. Clean and modern bathrooms. The staff could be a little bit more accommodating. When I walked in to register, I got the feeling I was interrupting something. They charged $5.00 for my Jack Russell Terrier and taxed that! Not sure that is on the up and up. Be sure to by Ice before you get there. They have the record for the most expensive 8 pound bag at $4.68 a bag.
