The pet area is great! The streets are narrow and one way going in the wrong direction. The utilities are at the back of the sites, obviously set up for park models. When we pulled in it was close to 5 and quitting time for the girl in the office. She hurried the process - as in didn't ask for money - just handed us off to an "escort." We had two escorts to help us park. Neither were helpful and probably lived in park models and didn't know anything about backing up a rig into a spot from the blind side. Pets not allowed to walk in non-pet area, which shortened our daily walks as we could only go on certain streets. Wi-Fi available only at a couple of spots in the park and then it was slow. You will like this place if you play golf. Most of residents are snowbirds from Canada who are very friendly. Will not stay again because of the tight spots and weird parking.

We just spent a week at Apache Flats. The sites are close to level, cement with a picnic table, and long enough for rig and tow vehicle. Streets are one-way. Small doggie areas spread around the perimeter. Well maintained and kept by host. Wi-Fi is new this month and they are working the bugs out. Good reception in the main office/laundry/library area and depending on how far away your site is. We were told that repeaters would be installed soon. Walking trails around the park. Near the base facilities and not far from the town of Sierra Vista for other shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and will return next time we are in the area. Very popular place and reservations are recommended!

The rate I've entered is based on a month's stay with a pet premium of $20 and a $30 electric deposit. We love this place! We spent 3 months here this year. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and honest! (I found a $20 bill on the steps outside the office, turned it in and never expected to hear back. The next day I got a call that no one had come looking for it and I should claim it!) Sites are mixed dirt and asphalt. We had one on dirt which was messy when it rained but we had a large end site that made up for it. No sites are small. Roads are wide. Spaces are easy to get in and out of. The lakes have lots of birds/ducks, there's places to walk the dog, and fishing. Close to the town of Santee, where there is everything you need - restaurants, stores, and shopping. Santee is the last stop on the San Diego trolley line and convenient for a day in the city. We have reservations for next year!

This family run RV Park is small, has grassy, shaded sites, and very super friendly owners who also bake a great pie! We called ahead as we have a large 5th wheel and need 50 amp service. They put us in the largest site they had with lots of grass around and under some cottonwood trees. It turns out that on the night we stayed we were the only customers so the place was quiet and our dog was able to sit outside with us without being leashed. They do have a small restaurant area with a very limited menu. The negatives for the park are that it is right on the highway and there is a lot of traffic noise. No TV but the free WIFI worked on the computers (not the smartphones) and the cell service was intermittent. We felt very comfortable here and would stay again. It's a perfect place to stay for visiting the Grand Coulee Dam which is 20 miles north.

Pluses: Nice grassy sites, convenient to I-90, pull through sites, 50 amp, and WI-FI. Minuses: I called the evening before- after hours- to reserve a site. I left my name and number and indicated what kind of site we needed and asked them to call back in the morning to let me know if they had anything available. The next morning around 10am I called again and went through the same drill. At about 1pm I called again and got a human being who was non apologetic and quite officious. But they did have a site for us and I booked it. When we arrived the lady was busy helping some kids - making them smoothies. She was the only one in the office. She did not acknowledge me at all. When she had finished with the kids she did thank me for waiting. When I told her I had called several times, her response, was "I'm sorry." Two rates - one for cash and one for credit. Trucks and car parallel park along the road making it difficult to get in and out of your site. The pet area is all black gravel and quite small. Most dogs won't use that type of area to do their business. Given a choice, we won't stay here again.

When we checked in we were required to pay for the two months at once instead of one month at a time. I would have left after the first month had I not already paid. We had friends in the area and wanted to meet at our site for lunch and then go on a river cruise at a nearby county park that was within walking distance. We were told that we could have only 2 people at our site (other than us). Since we had 5 people coming, that created an issue. The rules say "no visitors" but visitors are allowed up to 2 but not over night. When we said it was only for an hour we were still told no. They didn't want large gatherings in the park. But, every night there were groups of 10-20 people with their chairs in circles on a site having happy hour or dinner or sing along. Basically, the campground doesn't want outsiders. The internet was expensive and iffy at best. Very slow. The TV reception was slim to none for just one or two channels. We would be watching and the channel would disappear. You need a dish to have TV in this park. The on site water treatment plant's pump went "out" several times when we were there and the sewer water could not be drained from the RV. The half mile dusty or muddy (depending on the weather) dirt road into the park was not well maintained and was like riding on a washboard. The place is very expensive for the amenities provided which are none.

Very nice park. Very friendly staff and owner. Comfortable. Good size spaces. Open feeling. Could walk to the water. No beach to speak of, though. We really enjoyed out stay there and would go back in a heartbeat!!

The campground is in dense woods. The road winds between trees. It was very hard to navigate with our rig. We got a pull-thru with all the amenities. The electrical was pretty scary - the post was wobbly and full of cobwebs and bugs. This seems to be mostly seasonal sites - many in disrepair with all kinds of junk piled around them. The place whole place was uncomfortable to us. The manager offered WIFI for an extra $10 but ad says it was free. I discovered I had access with no password or anything without paying. Scam??? The laundry room was surprisingly clean and washers and dryers worked well. We met some nice folks, though. The camp ground office smelly and dirty. We won't return.
