Great Park. We stayed a week and would have stayed longer but the weekends are pretty booked up already for the year. Had a great site with access to the lake for our kayaks. Quite week until later part when weekenders were coming in, lake became noisy with boat engines. Kind of reminded me of NASCAR. Clean restrooms and showers. Only issue I had was tents were allowed to occupy RV sites that had 50amp service while RV's are too large to use the tent sites that were sitting empty (section D). It would help if trees were trimmed down and brush cut back. Hopefully we will be back!
Very pretty campground and plenty to do for families. We paid for a premium site but did not feel we received a premium site. Although it was long it was narrow, picnic table was in the back of the RV. Right next to the bathroom so we had a lot of traffic. However we were located very near the sidewalk to pick up shuttle buses or walk down to the Trails End restaurant. We didn't have any difficulty getting into and out of our campsite but did hear some bangs from larger MH's leaving. A unit must be rented out to receive cable and Internet, although you get the money back when you turn in the box the system is a pain to deal with setting up and we had wires running everywhere. This campground is nice to see the parks but Disney will nickel and dime you. We won't be back unless grandchild comes along.
A nice campground across the street from the beach. Campground had an off leash dog area, community center and laundry room. Laundry room needed cleaning. Sites were a little too tight; concrete pad had very little room to walk around RV although there was a small area for a picnic table. Super friendly campers (mostly full timers, retires).
I thought the campground was really nice, however campsites were close together. I love the huge trees, not so much the no-see-ums. Campground had a little bird sanctuary toward the tent site area. Rental bikes are at the campground store. Cannot bring your own firewood, we purchased firewood which turned out to be wet and would only smoke. Very Nice Bike/walking paths. Campground is near historic ruins. North Beach was a really interesting beach. Most of the campers that were at this campground, this time of year were snowbirds. Will love to come back to explore some more.
Nice campground. We were traveling through GA, looking for a nice place to stay overnight. This campground was a few miles off highway 20. Nice lake views. Our site was a level pull through. Some of the turns leaving were tricky for us. Could not get into some of the nicer sites, trailers were left on the sites with nobody staying in them (?). Hope to be back.
