I was happy they were able to accomodate me at the last minute. There were some great things here. It is very convenient if wanting/needing to walk. There are stables next door that we used for a family horseback riding trip through the Garden of the Gods. You could walk to Manitou Springs with little effort. We did laundry here, and the facilities were quite nice and inexpensive (compared to other campgrounds). We have AT&T, and had 0 service. Wi-Fi didn't work for us either - at all. So, between AT&T and no Wi-Fi, we would NOT stay here again. The sites are VERY close together. I was surprised the camp store doesn't sell milk, bread, etc. My kids enjoyed the pool and the pancake breakfast (on a Sunday). Also, the water pressure at our site was terrible, and was the only time on a two week trip that we had issues.
We stayed here for one night passing through trying to hit all the National Parks. It's very close to Capitol Reef. The views from this park are very nice. The camp store is excellent. Wi-Fi was decent. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
As others have said, it is simply a paved parking lot, but for us, traveling with no extra car, the convenience of being able to walk to the Las Vegas Strip was worth the one night we stayed. Circus Circus is on the extreme end of the strip, but definitely within walking distance to the main casinos (Bellagio, MGM, Venetian). The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was level. Wi-Fi worked well. We ended up taking a taxi back to our site from the Bellagio and it was $12. If in Las Vegas in an RV again, I would definitely stay here.
The view was beautiful, as it should have been for $140/night. We were able to walk to the ocean to let our kids get in the Pacific for a bit. There is also a seafood restaurant right next door that was very good. The laundry room was great. Wi-Fi worked ok for us. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for two nights. We got in very late - close to 1:30 am, and they had a night guard on duty to show us to our spot. Very pretty park. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Wi-Fi worked great. The laundry closes at 10 pm, which wasn't convenient for us. Perhaps the best feature is that it is right next door to a San Diego trolley stop, which we were able to take to the San Diego Zoo. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for a quick overnight stop - in at 10 pm and out at 7 am. I had made a reservation, but the night registration was easy to follow as well. WI-FI worked great. Site was very level. It had an "overnight" area, which was nice, as I didn't feel like we were bothering the normal guests. I probably wouldn't want to stay here for more than just an overnight stop, but for our purpose, it was great.
We stayed here for one night for a quick get away, since we live only 45 minutes away. The drive into the park was beautiful. Our site was shady and level. The playground was very nice, as was the camp store. The Wi-Fi worked well for us, too. It was a very peaceful stay and we would definitely stay here again. We also ordered dinner (pizza) from a local restaurant that delivers to the campground. It was delicious and convenient.
This was probably the cleanest KOA I have ever seen. The owners were super nice, the playground was fantastic and they had a lot to offer in terms of meals (pancake breakfast and dinner delivered to site). This was a great stopping point for us after a long day of driving. I would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.
This was probably the worst campground I have ever stayed in. The grass hadn't been mowed in weeks and it just generally looked dirty. The sites were very unlevel. It had two things going for it: the views of the Grand Tetons and the Wi-Fi worked great. Otherwise: pick somewhere else!
Very nice campground. Kids area was great. New restrooms were very clean. Very nice and reasonably priced laundry facilities. Horseback riding on site was very convenient and good value. Friendly staff. Great camp store. We would definitely stay there again.
