This campground is on a wide river. You can rent rowboats or bring your own kayaks. Sites are large, and you can have full sun or shade. I opted for shade. Easy access for even large rigs, mine is only an 18 footer. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Activities included bingo, dances, crafts, and a supper. You can buy your breakfast in their very nice restaurant. This was early June, and the season hadn't started yet, so the campground was empty. Yet they still put on these events. Rate reflects a special. It rained very heavily but did not dampen our fun. The casinos are an easy 20 minutes away. I went but lost all my gambling funds pretty quickly! I'll be back to stay here in the future.
This is an older campground. The roads are not paved, but were well graveled. Mostly seasonal campers, and all were very friendly. Lake Williams is beautiful, and you have a boat ramp right in the camp. Many campers were fishing or tubing. Very easy access for a canoe or kayak. Showers cost 25 cents, very clean but dated restrooms. Staff were very nice. I went to the casino on Saturday, bad day to go, very crowded. Lost, but it's only 30 minutes away. I'll be back again, I enjoyed my stay here.
We stayed during the week and the park was empty, mostly the very big class A's. Quiet, well kept CG, not much there for the high price. Beach needs to be raked, weeds are taking it over. Restrooms were very clean. Casinos are nearby, and I did win enough to pay for the camping! I felt the sites were above average in size, had easy access, and high quality connections. I don't use the Wi-Fi, so can't comment on that. The cable signal was fine, heavy rains left us without much else to do except watch television. Camp store had a nice selection, at reasonable prices. I'd stay here again.
Very nice park, very easy access off route 91. I had a pull through, level site with E,W,S. I don't watch broadcast TV, so don't know if any channels were available. Could care less about Wi-Fi, too. They have a man made pond with a slide for the kids, and they have a great time playing in it. You can camp with smaller units all around this pond. Large rec hall where they have meals and get together. Above ground pool that I did not use. Odd, dirt road arrangement, might be tight in spots for big rigs. I enjoyed my stay and I'd gladly go back.
Very large, level, pull through sites. Saw some of the biggest rigs they make here. Little or no shade, it's like being in a large parking lot. The pond advertised as "a place your child will want to try his luck fishing" was a mud bog full of weeds. The pool was very small, and the planned activities were a joke. The golf area was run down. Kid's playground was new and very nice. This is a CG to park your unit and go visit everything else in the area. For what was there, I felt grossly overcharged.
I've been coming here for years, very quiet, peaceful CG. Staff knows who you are and are very friendly. Sites are large, but they often do not even put others near you. Lots of privacy. Numerous flea markets, covered bridges, and good restaurants in the area. I especially enjoy tubing down the river, seeing all the birds and other wildlife.
