Park was great, large spots and very well kept. The only thing I didn't like as I'm sitting here watching, is the park personnel going through the trash bags in the dumpster. They are looking for recycle items, but still this is not right. Be careful what you throw in your bag. There is a separate recycle bin if you want to recycle.
We were lucky to get one of the few pull through sites which was a gravel site for the night. The manager was very friendly and helpful. They are replacing their Wi-Fi service soon, really no Wi-Fi that we could hookup too. Nice clean campground and we would stay here again.
We have stayed here many times. Owner and managers are very nice. Access roads has never been a problem. Beautiful relaxing campground with all the amenities we need, including Wi-Fi. Hoping the year there will be cell phone service since Livermore Labs has closed their space listening site which blocked all service.
We have camped here the last four years in a 38 foot motorhome, with slides. No problem with access road, or dirt. Best hidden secret in Northern California as far as I am concerned. Wonderful staff, and clean campground/RV Park.
Park is great, only problem is the ants, everytime we have stayed there we are infested with ants. Bring your spray and ant traps, some people put boric acid around tires and cords, etc. Lawn area could be watered more at the RV parking, but the lake is nice, and lawns around lake.
Most sites are filled with live-ins. Park very over priced now, have stayed there several times, and won't go back again. Big Rig sites are limited, and make sure office understands the size of your rig, and does not have you trying to back into a narrow site, next to a tree or pole. If you want a nice site you have to pay for it, could be a nice park if they catered to RV'ers.
