Let me say we saw some previous bad reviews for this park. New management or new owners, something has changed. We stayed in this park for 3 weeks while having work done on our truck. When we got here I mentioned that we couldn't get cable to work but it wasn't a big deal. Before I knew what was going on the office manager was at our site and had the resident manager out to replace the splitter...did I mention it was thundering! Some sites next to highway have lots of road noise, other sites very quite. Not much in amenities, laundry on site. RV park is a combination of RV and mobile home park. All homes seem to be well kept. No drama, no problems. We will stay here again when we are in the area. Price reflects Passport America discount.
Dead lakes refers to the dead trees from when the river was dammed up to form Dead Lakes. Quiet country atmosphere. Very few amenities, but a very nice place to stop if you' re in NW Florida. I drive a HDT pulling a 39' fifth wheel and had no problem getting in park. Dump station is very poorly set up, but over all good experience. Very clean well kept park. Playground for kids. Fish pond, and of course beautiful Dead Lakes! We will return again.
Despite lack of WiFi and cable this is a great park. Very clean, quite and we'll maintained. Easy access. We drive a HDT and are 64' long and very tall, no issues. Excellent water pressure, great park host, multiple boat ramps. Walmart 5 minutes from park. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely park, host took us in her van to the best site in park. Lot 15. Rate reflects America the Beautiful senior rate. Get local directions. GPS won't get you there. 5 miles on old paved road. Started to turn around several times, but glad I didn't. This place is a gem!
Quite, beautiful, and secluded. Stayed 3 nights, but could have stayed a month. Only complain: The RV is 13'4" tall. When I got to the park, I found low limbs going down drive. Climbed on top of my coach to keep limbs from damaging it.
