Our rate is the Passport America rate. Nice place to stay overnight. It could use a bunch of TLC. The owner is a very friendly guy, but it is obvious that he has lost some interest in running this place. The trains go by quite frequently.
Nice campground overlooking the lake. There is some highway noise, but it is quite bearable. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The site was level and there was lots of grass and trees. Nice place for stopping over on your way through. We will stay here again for sure.
What a nice place. Grass is plentiful with lots of trees. The staff were very friendly. The Wi-Fi worked great and the showers were clean although they did charge to use them. We would really like to come back here again.
We stayed here with a group and really had a great time. The owners, which are new, kept to the arrangements made with the previous owners and made our stay a pleasant one. The pool wasn't open yet which the kids would have enjoyed. The washrooms were well cleaned, but I hated the push button water supply. The Internet worked fantastic. This is a really nice, quiet place that families would enjoy. There is a wild west attraction next door. We would stay here again if we come to the Chicago area. The rate indicated was our group rate.
This rate is the Good Sam rate. This is the second time we have stayed here on our way home from AZ. It is a nice quiet park with close access to I-40. It is a great place to stay one night. There are a lot of long term residents here but the pull through sites are easy in and out. The internet works great. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice RV park with clean facilities. The rate quoted is Passport America rate. The sites are gravel and the day we arrived there was a sand storm so there was lots of sand around too. The washrooms were very clean. It would probably have been nicer but the wind kind of ruined everything for us. For the price we paid it was an excellent deal so we would probably stay there again for an overnight like this.
The rate quoted is all in. It is the monthly fee plus the pet fee plus the garbage fee plus the electricity charge. The internet we had to pay for as well (tengointernet) and it was lousy. It was better than last year but still lousy. The pet area stank, smelled. It is need of cleaning. Otherwise than this it is nice clean park with lots of park models. They are working on updating some of the features. Lots of activities. The staff are all friendly along with the residents. We are seriously thinking of choosing a different park for next year.
We stayed here for the month of January and really enjoyed this park. The Wi-Fi was fantastic, much better than anything we have had in the past. A big plus is the fenced dog park. It is very large and grassed and we found it to be very clean. The biggest drawback at this park is the sites. They are very hard to back into and the power posts are in non friendly positions which cause you to have lots of wasted space. The golf course is wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are lots of long term residents and they were extremely welcoming. There is only one washroom and shower building but the exercise walking there in the wonderful sun is well worth it. The garbage is on the road in so is easy to stop at. We would definitely return to this wonderful RV park.
Great place to stay! We had an excellent time there for the two nights over New Years. Next time we will stay longer. The washrooms are excellent and showers were very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful in giving directions and suggestions. It is not that far to drive to "the strip" but far enough away to be quiet. Shopping is close as well as any restaurants you might want to visit. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here on our way home from Mesa using the Good Sam discount. It is a well kept, quiet RV park. The washrooms were very clean and the showers were as well. The Wi-Fi worked fantastic and cable was great too. The sites are level from side to side but some lifting was necessary from front to back. We definitely would stay here again.
Rate is the Good Sam rate. This is a great place for an over-niter. It has easy access from I-40. The traffic noise is noticeable with the large number of trucks that travel the Interstate at night. The sites are fairly level and the set up was easy. The washrooms / showers are clean and spacious. What more can you expect for this price? We would stay there again.
This is a very nice, organized RV park. The staff were extremely welcoming. The park is close to I-40 but we not bothered by the road noise at all. They have a free continental breakfast in the morning. The sites are level, cement pads with gravel between some and grass between others depending on the area you choose. We will definitely stay here again when we are on our way to Arizona.
This is a large, well kept RV park. There are a lot of permanent units mainly in one section. There are pet areas and it is well laid out. There are plenty of activities available. The Wi-Fi worked good although it does cost extra as does the cable. You also are charge a "pet fee" for each pet. Everything was very clean and the staff were friendly. We would stay there again.
What a great park! We really enjoyed our stay at this small Arizona state park. Our site looked out over the lake. The staff was very friendly. The water did not work the first night, but they got it all fixed for the second night that we were there. There are walking trails, and the natural hot tub is very nice. We definitely would stay there again.
We used the Good Sam rate. We found that the place allowed many of the permanent guests to store all their stuff under their trailer. Our view from the dinette was a whole lot of junk at the unit next door. The water wasn't working for our unit, but the washroom / showers were working for the first night. This was because of the extreme cold weather. It was -15c the nights we were there. The gravel on their sites tracks into the trailer and makes a real mess. We probably would try a different park next time we were in the area.
This is a great place to stay for one night. There is not much to do in Fort Stockton. The sites were level and easy to get into. The water wasn't working because of the extreme cold. The food in the restaurant was very good.
This park was a pleasant surprise since it is so close to the city and yet so quiet. It is convenient for travel into Toronto. The only issue we had was the distance to the power point. The posts are shared by two sites and whoever gets there first gets to use the plug they need and the other gets the leftover. We got a 50 or 15 amp plug when we needed the 30. The park is very clean and the workers were all friendly. We will stay there again when in the area.
This is a great place to stay. The sites are all level, groomed gravel with a nice patch of grass and a cement pad for your BBQ and picnic table. The pool and hot tub are very clean and the staff were there every day scrubbing down the deck chairs. This park is extremely convenient for travel to downtown via the bus. The Riverwalk is currently under expansion and when it is finished you will be able to cycle right onto it next door to the park. The only noise we heard was the occasional train and helicopter flying by. We would definitely stay here again.
The rate shown was the weekly rate using our Passport America card. This RV park is right beside the US 83 expressway. Our site backed right up to the fence; therefore we, got all the traffic noise, and there was a lot. There was one female staff member that was very rude to my wife. The showers / washrooms really need to be upgraded. There are a fair amount of permanent trailers in the park. The Wi-Fi was lousy, and it was 12 dollars extra. They blamed it on a virus, but reading earlier comments makes me wonder. The male manager was extremely friendly as were the other RVers. For the price: not a bad deal. We would consider going back but would ask for a different location away from the highway.
This rate is the weekly rate with the extra for electricity prorated added in. This RV park is very nice. The sites are well treed which could cause a problem with some larger RV's. We encountered no problems at all at this place. We would probably stay there again if we came back to the area.
This rate reflects the Good Sam discount. There are a fair number of permanent residents here. There seems to be a problem with dog owners not cleaning up after their pooches because we ended up cleaning up after theirs and ours. The Wi-Fi was not good. It kept cutting out. The grounds are not kept up as well as they could be. The washrooms, showers and laundry room were very clean. We would probably look at a different location if we came back to this area again.
This rate reflects the Good Sam discount. We really like this RV resort. They treat their guests extremely well. They even come around and pickup your garbage. The grounds are very clean. We would definitely consider staying here again when we are in the area.
This is a really nice place. The office staff and ground staff were all very friendly. This park is convenient to much of the DFW area. There is a mall close by as well as other stores. The sites are spacious enough and there are trees throughout the park. Propane is available on site. The internet was slow at times but worked fine. We used Passport America for 2 nights which helped reduce our nightly fee. We would definitely return to this place next time we are in the Dallas area.
This place is very clean and a very nice place to stay at. The sites are level, spacious and the hookups are well positioned. The owners are very friendly. It is convenient to anything you might need. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in an electrical site at the far end of the campground (204). Make sure you bring an extension cord as the connections are a looonnngg ways away. It took a bit of work to get level. After all that it was a great place to stay. We over looked the water and that was gorgeous. It is a long way from everything so make sure you are stocked up before you go, otherwise you will have at least 30 minute drive to get things. We would definitely stay here again.
Rate reflects Passport America discount. This place is a little gem. The only improvement, in my opinion would be the availability of 30 amp service. The owners are wonderful and they keep this place really nicely. The WiFi works very well and the washrooms / showers are spotless. We definitely would stay here again. By the way, the food in their little restaurant is great too.
This is a very nice state park with 30 Amp service. There is no water hookup available. There is a dump station. We stayed here while attending the Nascar race at nearby Michigan Speedway. It is only 5 miles away. For this it was very convenient. It was quiet and well kept even though it was full. We would stay here again.
The whole site area we were in, was a gravel lot. There was a big grass field between us and the lake. There was another area that had more grass but it seemed to be full of seasonal/full time units. The place was clean and the WiFi worked well. We would not stay here again.
Really nice, quiet location that is still convenient for the highway. Level sites but the pull through spots do not have a sewer hookup which surprised me because those rigs are the ones that need it the most. Well treed with a small fire pit at each site. There is no store but anything in Wawa is just a short drive away. We would stay here again.
We had a wonderful pull through site while at this RV park. The noise from the adjacent highway was an issue, hindering a quiet sleep with trucks slowing down as they came down the hill. The hot tub didn't work quite right either. Other than this, it is a really nice place with very clean washrooms and showers. Lots of trees make it very appealing. We would stay here again but ask for a spot further from the highway.
We used our passport America membership so we paid 1/2 price. Their website indicates it's on the lake but in reality it is about a 50-75 foot steep walk down to the beach. The view of the beach is great. There are a lot of seasonal units with all the view sites taken by these units. They do have lookouts with benches. The Wi-Fi is available only at the office building and it was very slow. Other than this it was a nice place and we would probably stay there again using the discount.
As previously mentioned, there are two sections and we were put into the open field section as it seems the main section is all seasonal. The building with the washrooms and showers is padlocked. There is a beach but it looks very uninviting because of overgrowth. There is a fair amount of noise from the highway which is right beside this campground. The WiFi is free for 30 minutes and then there is a $10. charge for 48 hours or $5. for 3 hours. We would not stay here again.
What a fantastic place to stay! The grumpy old man mentioned in an earlier review is still there but all the staff including him are extremely friendly and courteous. When you are at this park it is hard to believe that you are really close to such a large metropolitan area. The conveniences are all really close by but in a short period you can be walking down forested paths. We definitely recommend this park for your next stay at the Twin Cities.
Very nice! Very clean! The people were very friendly and even gave out coupons with discounts at businesses in the town. When you stay here you really get to experience the "Big Sky" of Montana. The sunset was gorgeous. We would stay there again for sure.
Very friendly staff! We had all the services you would would want. The sites were roomy and even had fire pits. The place is well kept and we had to look hard to find any kind of garbage. We stayed for two nights, and we would stay here again.
This has got to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at! We had a absolutely gorgeous riverside pull through site. A large fire pit was on the site which made the evening that much better. Everything about this place was great! We would love to spend a longer period there again sometime.
Nice quiet location just outside the town. The cafe on site is closed on Mondays. There are lots of tall trees which are very much appreciated on those HOT days like we had. There is not much in there store. The place is well kept and the pool was very clean. We would stay here again.
This RV park is convenient for travel into and around the Vancouver area. The sites could be a bit bigger but are adequate. There are some fulltimers whose units appear a little run down but for the money and convenience, I would recommend this RV park. The grounds are well kept and the services are good. The store, if you can call it that, is lousy but there are good stores within a short drive.
This place is a jewel. The place where we were reserved was not able to accommodate us due to standing water and Gordon Howe was available. The sites were very nice and the grounds were very well kept. The managers were extremely friendly. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone... A-1!!
This RV park was horrible! There was a large dumpster behind our site that was open and garbage was pouring out on the ground. Their Wi-Fi was only available in the office building. The store was very poorly stocked. It was raining when we arrived and the gutters were overflowing right over the entrance door. That was a great welcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
