This is a really nice park. Spaces are large and have some landscaping or shrubbery between sites. Lots of little deer around too. The park employees are polite and helpful. The park is well maintained, sites have been mowed, the power is very good on our loop, don't know about the others. Good Verizon 3g, and easy setup for Dish satellite. The activity center is clean and modern, we're going over for breakfast this morning. The park has been quiet at night.
We stopped by on a Tues. afternoon in Aug. without a reservation, and we were lucky to get a spot. The camp was full that afternoon. This is a park that we have visited four or five times over the past five years, and it's always clean, and well tended. This park during the summer is very busy with campers that have boats, watercraft, and sail boards. Lots of kids, dogs, and campers coming and going. Clean restroom, clean showers, great staff. This park is too busy for us to want to stay there for more than an over-nighter, but if you want access to the water this park has it all.
This campground is right next to the county fairground and is just outside of Prineville. The sites are very close, with very small grassy areas. The RV's are parked back to back, but there's room for slide outs, and the park was quiet when we were there. Upon arrival we had to listen to the park employee chat with a customer for about 10 minutes about her last trip to Europe. She reluctantly ended her gab fest to take our registration. This is a well maintained park, and was very busy when we were there, even though the fairgrounds were closed.
Great location, easy access on and off of I-5. Very well maintained, this park is well tended with lots of grass, flowers, and trees. We had read other reviews about excessive traffic noise, but we didn't notice this as we were located in space 26, away from the roadway. One of the nicest private RV parks we've stayed in. The owner can be a little crabby but Eric at the front desk makes up for his lack of people skills. Also, they said that they have modified the old policy on who gets the pull through spots, so that shouldn't be an issue now.
