Well kept grounds! Not much to do for kids, so mostly retired people. Very quiet which we loved! Excellent Wi-Fi/internet connection. Only local TV via antenna. (Which is fine for us!) Lovely pavilion by the river with a fireplace, plus everyone has their own firepit (cage). We'll be back again and again!
$10 all day long to raft on the river. Leave on the hour throughout the day. What a deal, and had a blast! Internet connection is pathetic (as slow or slower than dial-up). Big sites with concrete pads and patio. Really nice people.
Beautiful natural setting coupled with a historical site, including a charming inn and restaurant/bar. Miles of hiking trails in the State Forest next to the campground. There was a deer in the morning along the edge of the campgrounds near the beginning of the (snowmobile) hiking trail. We had a large, good, like-home meal at the restaurant. Showers are basic but but clean and free. Very quiet; just one other camper came in the night. There were coyotes howling in the evening for a few minutes. We would definitely come back here again and stay a few days!
