Overall the park is a great place to camp. The owners have special week-ends with different activities going on, most everything that is planned for these special events are free. It's a large campground and they are constantly working to improve it. Of course, there are other things that are offered there to do, such as fishing, paddle boating, go-carts, etc and there is a fee for these, which is understandable. A very friendly staff who do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. Some sites are better than others, so if you get there early or make reservations you will get a better spot. Downside is AT & T phone reception is almost impossible. If you have a golf cart, you're welcome to bring it and should if you want to go all over the park. They offer a pitstop grill where you can pick up some fastfood, a few camping necessities, and small stocked store. Also, on the premises are a restaurant and gameroom that is operated independently from the campground owners.

For what it cost, it was not worth it. They did offer a lot for kids to do, but most things were an additional cost. We were not impressed with the campsites at all. They weren't level and needed mowing. Don't plan on going back.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Cleanest restrooms anywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All large pull-thru sites. I'm sure children are welcome, but seemed more geared towards adults, since there wasn't a pool or playground. Beautifully landscaped. Nice laundry room. There's a picnic shelter and meeting room if you travel in a group. Game room. Also a fenced in area for your pet to run and have fun instead of being on a leash all the time. Plenty of room between the lots with grass and young trees. In the office, there's a small store that offers some essentials that you might need for your camping experience. Downside would be more sites would need a picnic table and fire rings. Also there's a train track nearby, so if you're a light sleeper and don't have your air running, you might get awaken during the night. But the positives way outweigh the negatives. It also offers cable and WiFi free of charge. Definitely a BIG 10 in my book!
