If you're looking for something close to downtown Atlanta, it doesn't exist. I travel all around north Atlanta on I-75, GA 400, and I-85 and the RV park choices are limited. Harvest Moon is a great small park right off I-75 with easy in and out. Sites are level, the wifi is great, and the owner is onsite most of the time. Free popcorn and free laundry. Gravel sites, no paved pads, and no picnic tables for the most part. But.. it's quiet, well maintained, well managed, and not overpriced. It's not a "10" park but the best RV park I've found in North Atlanta so far.

Campground continues to go down hill. Fishing and restaurant are both closed. Mostly long term residents. It's a shame since it's so close to West Knoxville.

Paramount's Carowinds Campground is actually called "Camp Wilderness Campground". See other listing.

This CG is next door to Carowinds, which makes it super convenient to the amusement park and only 14 miles from the Charlotte downtown area if you're taking the kids to Discovery Place (kids interactive museum downtown). This appears to be the best place to stay in Charlotte proper. The trolley from the CG to Carowinds will save time and parking $$. Access from I-77 to Carowinds (Exit 90) is easy. Just follow the signs. The Cracker Barrel between exit 90 and the CG has RV parking as well. There is a "Blooms" Grocery Store on the other side of the interstate. CG is older and most of the "original" sites directly behind the check in lodge are not very level (Sites 75, 76, 85, etc.) so if you have a motorhome over 35', go to the new section on the left as you come in. We chose site 189 and it was flat and long enough for the motorhome and toad parked end to end. Roads and sites are paved. Sites in my section was not crammed together. Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Too cold to try the pool but it appeared clean. Kids enjoyed the playground. Didn't have a need for the shower facilities or restroom. Camp store has some basic groceries. No cable but picked up 5 local channels. Overall, it's a nice CG and a safe place to stay for a few days.

This is a first class RV Resort only a few miles from I-40 on Highway 66. Paved roads and oversizes concrete pad with enough room for Motorhome and tow vehicle parked end to end. Lots of landscaping, great view of river, and well maintained and managed. Really nice clubhouse, small playground, and pool. If you want clean, quiet, and upscale, this is as good as it gets. Great place all year but especially nice during winter months of rain and snow.

Rally Park is a great base camp while visiting the attractions in the Tampa area. Located off I-4 only one exit from intersection of I-4 and I-75. One of the closest CG's to Busch Gardens & Clearwater Beach. Easy on / easy off plus Flying J and Cracker Barrel at the exit. Full paved sites, cable (50+ channels), security guard, and trash pick up at the site. Check in was slow, but not bad, and attendant led us site in golf cart (nice feature if arriving after dark). We didn't choose to stay here for the free breakfast or lunch (at the dealership next door). We wanted a safe, convenient, clean, and quiet CG while traveling with kids. Based on those factors alone, this would be a "10".

Great location! If you're "camping" and want a destination park or rustic experience in the woods of Maine, go inland. If you're "traveling" up the coast with kids and want a great base camp in the middle of everything (between the Rite Aid Drugstore and McDonalds), this CG will make you happy. Interior roads are paved and sites are gravel. Deluxe sites in back are level, shaded, and have huge concrete patios. Stayed 3 nights and had no problems. Very safe. Appears to be the nicest park in the area. Whale watching in Kennebunkport is only 20 minutes away. Will stay here next year.

This is a little diamond in the rough. Once the master plan is complete, this will be a 10! Access from I-81 to Exit 257 was easy and all 4 miles of roads into CG were near perfect. Very nice entrance and boulevard leading to check in station. Beautiful setting against Massanutten Mountain. Check in was easy and staff led us to site in golf cart. All sites are stair stepped up a hill and each site has a rock wall, which was incredible. Somes site are not level but 17, 18, 19, etc, were fine. Trash pick up was at 9:30 am as promised. Truly a motorhome resort. Drop down to Exit 247 for most major restaurants, shopping, and groceries. The indoor water park at Massanutten Resort is about 20 miles away so we decided to stay an extra night and let the kids burn off some energy before hitting the road. Diesel island for RV's right before getting back on interstate. Perfect !! We'll be back.

CG is clean, safe, and well maintained. i.e. Everything you'd expect from Jellystone brand. Sites are shady and level. Pools were clean and store was well stocked. If you're looking for a destination for a couple of days, this is a good choice. I only rate it a 6 because there is nothing else in the area and it's 20 miles of country roads to get to the CG. It's not a good choice if you're just passing through.

Great place to stop on way to Florida. I called about an hour before arrival and reserved a pull through site for a motorhome with a tow vehicle. Nice lake and playground for kids. Restaurant choices are limited at this exit but OK for a quick stop. Better park than Eagles Roost across the interstate.

I arrived after 5:00 pm so security checked me in and took me to a paved, pull through site. So far, I'm impressed. Unfortunately, this is where my happiness ends. This park is near a very busy train track and the train whistle blows all during the night. There were several long term residents that obviously didn't mind. This is not a place for kids. .
