NOISY! Campground was alongside a busy 4-lane hwy. Neighbor went to work on a Harley at 5:40 AM, give me a break! Sites are very un-level. Good Wi-Fi and good TV cable. Office closed on weekends, but camp host was VERY helpful and friendly. $15 was with Passport America.
Advertised as a Passport America park, but would not honor their discount. Office was closed on Sunday. NOISY park: our site was 150 feet from a busy 24 hour convenience store and 300 feet from a BUSY intersection. Loose dogs in the park. Park was clean, easy to get into and out of with big sites.
Very nice park. Easy in and out with separate exit. VERY friendly staff. No office, owner and camp host met us at the entrance and escorted us to our LARGE pull-through site. Wi-Fi and cable TV was excellent. $20 Passport America.
Horrible !!! Horrible !!! Dirty, noisy, cramped, and old campers everywhere !! Grossly overrated and over priced !! We were parked 40 feet from a local road and a couple hundred feet from a busy railroad. Parks like this should be turned back into a cow pasture !!
Absolutely wonderful park !! Beautifully laid out !! Easiest park to get into and out of I've ever been at. Only thing keeping it from being a 10 is the noisy nearby train that ran off and on all night long. Easy access of I-20. All pull through sites. The owner is on site and very helpful and friendly. All utilities worked fine.
Worst park we've ever been in. No security whatsoever. The front of our rig was about 10 feet from the edge of a county road (road had no ditch). No fence or any kind of protection for our 'stuff'. The 'big rig' sites were VERY cramped !! Our rear slide was 2 feet from the neighbors slide. The $20 reflect Passport Amer rate (couldn't imagine anyone paying $40 for this place). The road leading in had several speed bumps on it !!!! Imagine that !!!! Speed bumps !!!!
Noisy! I think there is a dog kennel next door. Cramped, small sites, pull through was only 45 feet long. Stray cats running loose. Everyone seemed to ignore the 5MPG speed limit. The staff was VERY nice and it is right across the road from a Pilot station. Wi-Fi was good, but the sign-on was a pain. Good cable signal. Rate paid reflect Passport America.
Super nice little park. Nice staff. The $19 rate was via Passport America. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is it was FULL of de-composing leaves. I say 4 people collecting garbage every morning, so I know they had the manpower to rake them up. Leaves everywhere and a lot of them were beginning to rot!! They got on your cloths and all over your shoes. YUCK !!
Absolutely the finest park we've ever been in. Wonderful layout, easy in/out for our 38 footer (with 12 foot trailer). The campsites are layer out around a 10 or 12 acre center grassy area, makes you think it's a huge front yard. This unique layout eliminates looking out your window at another camper. Friday afternoon the park filled up and it still felt very spacious. And NO, we're not related to the owners.
1) Heavy wooded campground, hardly any sun. 2) Access road is a three mile winding one and one half lane UNMARKED road. Met a semi in a corner, about had a heart attack! Very dangerous access road! 3) No TV reception. Roof antenna no reception because of huge trees. Dish no reception because of the huge trees. 4) One to two bars on our Sprint phones. 5) Park was clean, staff was very nice. 6) Would only recommend to campers that have small vehicle and like total seclusion and isolation.
