Great RV park run by the county. Spaces are spacious and clean. A lot of green area and a kids play park near by. There wasn't much fish in the lake but still a nice place to camp. Attendants came by every three to four hours to pick up trash. When the water park opens, this would be one fun place to camp.
The office staff was very nice and helpful. This park was very clean and the landscape well cared for. If your exploring the city, this park is a great place to stay. We have kids and the pool was well heated for them to swim. Without the heated pool the kids would be bored at the park. If I was coming back to Long Beach I would stay here again.
We arrived for a three day trip. The staff was excellent, they helped us with the reservation, aided us in getting jeep trips reserved, and was overall very polite. The campground was rustic but very clean. When we were there, they were doing construction and made it a little bit uncomfortable. This is a good central location to start your Sedona adventure. I would return here again if we visit Sedona.
The campground is clean and well cared for. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. The park was very quite, most people out at the casino. My kids loved the heated pool and the spa, had it mostly to themselves. Lots of security and no long term residents, which made it better for us.
We camped over the weekend in the F165 loop and had a great time. My kids swam all day and the pool and the bathrooms were very clean. Some residents drove around in ATV's and Quads but I did not mind because my kid made lots of noise, and it was a good trade off. The residents were very friendly and so was the park staff. We are planning on camping here again soon.
Beautiful place to camp. We drove our toad to curry village and the kids went swimming all day. The camp ground was a little rustic but it was what we expected from a national park. We should have entered the park from the rear entrance, the drive from the front was too long. I would return again but maybe next time in a camp site in the valley.
Our camp site was near the fishing pond with lots of shade trees and some grass. Each site came with a picnic table, water and 20amp service but no hook-up for sewer. The site was uneven and very rustic. The park was very clean and everyone was polite. There were lots of children on the weekend. We were there, and my kids had a great time. I just wish we had full hook-up at our site. I would return here to go camping again.
I came for the peace and quiet and I got it. It did get a little hot during the day but that is expected in Castaic. The resort was clean and the roads were paved. The pull through sites were gravel and had some grass with its own benches. Overall, I got what I expected. Both my neighbors came to the camp to go to Magic Mountain, so the camp was quiet. I will camp here again.
I brought my three kids(11,10,8) to go fishing. They caught about 15 bluegill each and in that respect the resort is a 10. Some of the good things about the resort is that they have paved roads and paved pads so you won't need outside carpet. They have a nice pool, kid's playground, and everyone was friendly. Some of the negatives are things the RV resort probably can not control. There are dairy farms near by so there is a fly and smell problem. It was 105 degrees on the day we came but that never really bothered the kids, because they had fun fishing. There are lot of insects at night which is different then the flies. Also, there is no sewer hookup, but they have a dump station so we dumped on our way out. We would come back again in the fall when it is a little cooler and after they stock the lake with catfish.
I love the camp ground with all its nice greenery. The sites are large and the road was wide which made it easy to navigate. I did not give it a perfect score because of the freeway noise. Ask for a site far from the Freeway.
