Location, location, location. No, it's not rustic or pretty but it's right downtown within sight of the Gateway Arch and within a very few miles of all the major tourist spots in St. Louis. It's in an urban area but I felt safe. If you want a convenient location this is the place. Everything worked perfectly and the staff was super-friendly. The gentleman who escorted me to my site offered to help me hook up and even offered to help me unload my motor scooter.
RV Parks don't get any better than this. The owner and his staff are friendly, helpful enthusiastic and charming. The campsite was well-maintained and spotlessly clean as were the showers and "washrooms" (as they're called in Canada). Roads and sites were wide and level. The shuttle bus is right across the street. The Wi-Fi was great -- thank goodness because Verizon charges an arm and a leg to use your U.S. phone or data connection. If I ever come back to Niagara Falls, this is the only place I'd consider staying!
This is my first review and I'm submitting it because I had a totally different impression than the prior reviewer. I called to check on vacancies and asked a few questions. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and open so I decided to visit the site. Well, lo and behold, it was clean with big pull through spaces that were easy to access. The gentleman not only accompanied me to the site but volunteered to help me hook up. I've NEVER had that happen. The electric, water and sewer hookups were in excellent condition. The park is not a luxury resort but is ideal for a stopover while traveling. Internet connectivity is very important to me and theirs is excellent. No hassle getting on line, very fast and it never dropped me. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends.
It doesn't get any better than this. The location is beautiful. It's shaded and a short walk to the Androscoggin river. The facility is first class and the owners/managers are wonderful. They both work constantly to maintain the campground and it shows. The fact that they love their work also shows. The campground is family-oriented with lots of things for the kids to do. I stayed here two months and traveled in the local area. It's a few minutes from Mt. Washington and many other great sites. All the facilities work. Dave & Laurie are very responsive to reasonable requests. My space is cool and well-shaded. I based the rate on the monthly rate I paid.
