Great park, park is now owned by KOA, they have replaced the management at park, they know campgrounds and how to take care of customers. New management is still making changes to park, KOA store with products from Camping World, and they should have the bar and restaurant open soon.
Staff is nice, we spent a week here in May 2006. Grass was knee high everywhere, we reserved a site with cable and full hook up. There was no cable, we were told I am sorry! WiFi works at office but not much beyond there. Would never stay again to much money for what you get or don't get.
Great park, typical Alaska water and electric hooks, staff is easy, very close to everything, it is a must stop when the bears are in town, yes in town! We stayed almost 3 weeks and loved everyday! No cell phone service in the area.
Great staff, the park has already improved from our last visit, new managers, things are getting repaired that needed, Christmas lights are up, bathrooms are warm and clean. Great park close to everything!
Staff was rude, and seemed only concerned about making money, most of camp ground was muddy, we were there early in there season for 3 nights, great views, close to NP entrance, would not stay there again.
Great spot, cheap, view to die for, one the beach, walk every morning, sit in front seats of coach and watch eagles, shore birds, and otters play and feed. Two water and dump station in Homer. This is a city camp ground, there are 3 on the spit, there are other campgrounds but cost so much, and for what? A must stay if you are in Homer!
