The park is located in a beautiful area, but has sadly run down. The picnic tables are old with mold and nails sticking out. The fire rings are falling apart. The manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. When asked about the shower conditions she replied that we had a shower in our rig and should use it, not the park shower. We told her it was a park amenity and should be clean and available. She told us if we weren't happy we could leave then walked out of the office to another room. The only bright spot was the coffee shop located in a room next to the office. The man and lady operating it were friendly, helpful, gave us wonderful tips on the area and provided great coffee. As long as the current manager is at this park we would not recommend it to anyone.
We spent time in this campground last year and also this spring. The new managers are friendly enough, and the bath houses were very clean! However, the grass needed to be mowed, and the internet was spotty at best. There are cable channels ranging from channel 2 through 16. While we were there the lower channels up to 6 went completely out and the upper channels were fuzzy. The lady managing said there had been several other complaints, but nothing was done. Several lights were burned out throughout the park. One resident mentioned they had advised the office several times, but no lights were changed. The area is beautiful, but the park has no amenities other than poor cable, internet, and clean bathrooms. The least they could do is furnish decent cable and internet. Last year there was a coffee shop open in the mornings. We were sad to see it wasn't here this year. The manager spent quite a bit of time complaining about the park owners and made it quite sure they were leaving in the fall never to return. Hmmmmm, do they know something we don't?
