Another great stay! The grounds, restrooms and showers were immaculate. No store, but ice, firewood and basic toiletries are available. Very close to the GSM park entrance and Cades Cove. Also within walking or biking distance to restaurants and grocery store. We will definitely be back soon.

We had a great time! From the time we arrived, until we left, the park rangers were very helpful. The park is kept very clean and safe. There were a lot of animals to observed, coyote, fox and deer, just to name a few. I highly recommend, if you are a bike rider, take the bike trail into Mandeville. It's not only a beautiful ride, but on Saturdays there is an open market going on at the Trailhead from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Also, there are always programs going on at the campground.

Small, but very nice. This is a beautiful park that is well-maintained. Great for families, even though they do not have a pool, there is swimming and fishing allowed in the river. Jackie and family keep everything running smoothly, and keep the park clean and quiet. There isn't a store on site, but everything you need is very close and even within walking distance from the park.

This is a great park. The managers are very nice and accommodating. They also were good about enforcing the park rules. It is in a good location, right across the road from the beach. No campground store, but they do have ice. However, they are very close to anything one might need. I would definitely stay here again.

This is on the way to being a really nice park! The park has only been open for a short time, and it is evident that the owners want it to be a success. They were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome, even though we were only there for one night, . The sites are gravel, but level and have concrete pads with tables. All sites were full-hookup, and most all have cable. Fort Payne has a lot to offer for the outdoor enthusiast, and is also home to the country group "Alabama", and their fan and welcome center. Not to mention, it is a beautiful area! This park is right off of Interstate 59, close to a Cracker Barrel restaurant and K Mart. The only reason that I didn't give it a higher score is because they are still in the process of adding amenities. Otherwise, safe, clean and nice people.
