The only reason we are giving this park a 9 instead of a 10 is there was no grass for our dogs. Staff was wonderful, spots were good and they even had a BBQ you could attend at night. We stayed one night and were too tired to attend but it is nice that it was offered. Extremely well cared for park
Other people have rated this campground lower because of the gravel but most campgrounds have that. This was very nice and convenient right off the I40 but far enough away not to hear the freeway noise. It is right next to the railroad but all you hear is a rumble now and then and we were in the row right next to it and did not have a problem. Staff was super friendly and helpful
We stayed here for 6 weeks. Right on the Arkansas river and the bridges at night have beautiful lights. This park is close to everything. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. We have stayed here 2 years in a row. Will definitely stay again
Nice park. We just stayed overnight and it was very convenient. Some truck noise. Large pull-through sites, and we did not have to unhook. The restaurant in front of the RV park was very good. We had the butterfly shrimp and the chicken fried steak. The fritters are great. Would definitely stay here again along I-40 Did not use any of the facilities.
We called and the owner told us when we arrived to just pick a spot and go to the office and put the money in an envelope and put it in the box. When we arrived, we were the only ones here so we had our pick of spots. I just do not understand why this place is empty. The sites are long, with good level gravel, and there is a nice grass area and picnic table at the sites. We like to put up a doggie fence and it worked out perfect. Nice tree at each site also, although they are not real mature yet. Right off the interstate 90 and very easy access. Pool is nice and although we did not use the laundry room, it seemed adequate. I definitely would recommend this park and would stay again if passing through this area. We stayed here so we could go to Mitchell and see the Corn Palace which was well worth it.
This is a small park with very friendly owners. Not a lot of ammenties but we usually do not care. Nice grassy pull thru area. This park suffered from a tornado a few years ago and they are slowly getting it going again. Worth the stop because it is $10. if you have passport america. We would stop here again if we ever come through here in the future.
I will start by raving about this unique and wonderful park right on the Gulf. The owners were wonderful, helpful and very friendly. The accomodations were great, the view was fantastic. We actually hated to leave afer 3 days but had to keep on our schedule. We have been traveling for 3 months so far and this was the best park we have been in. Not fancy or anything, but extremely comfortable and sitting and watching the water was wonderful. They even have a pier to fish off of and my little dogs loved their walks along the beach every day. If we ever get back to Fl, this will be a definite place to stay.
