This is by far the nicest facility I have ever camped in. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are exceptionally clean. WiFi coverage is very good and they used to charge $5 per day for this service, but once they paid for the hardware they began offering it for free. There is no view of the river due to a flood control wall but the scenery is just breathtaking.
This is less of a park and more parking lot. It really is just acres of asphalt. In the heat of the summer it is unbearable. There is minimal shade. But it is the closest access to the strip you can get in a RV. But for me, I'd rather stay in a more pleasant place off strip and shuttle in.
This is the nicest park you will find in Las Vegas but they make you pay for it. It has more amenities than any park I've ever been in. But you must realize this is a noisy place. There are two high-rise condos being built on the east side and you will be awakened to the construction. Then if the wind is out of the SW which it is often here the planes will be taking off just overhead from McCarran airport. But I guess my biggest beef with the place is the lousy internet service. WIFI is no longer a luxury in my mind and many places are starting to offer it for free. Oasis charges $5 a day for it and it is frustrating. Even if you can get a good signal, the bandwidth is being shared across too many users. For a place this nice, this is a real weakness.
