This is a small Mark Twain National Forest campground located on the Current River in Van Buren, Missouri. The sites are all great, but none are electrical. There are two modern landings with access to the river. There is also a boat ramp. There is an outdoor cold water shower and clean flush toilets. There is a large day use area with two pavilions. Picnic tables and fire rings are located at all sites, plus extra tables and fire grates scattered through out the park.
We paid the senior rate. An excellent campground located on the Tenn-Tom Waterway. We enjoyed watching barges going up and down the river. Large clean sites with a picnic table and an extra wood table for setting things/ or fish cleaning. An great place to spend some time.
We stayed here for one night between Christmas and New Years. We called ahead and were met by the manager who directed us to our site and helped us get hooked up. He was very friendly and helpful. Despite the cold weather outside, the bathrooms and showers were warm and very clean. We used the Passport America rate. A good spot for an overnight stay. We will use it again when we pass through.
We were looking for a spot near Hays to spend a couple of weeks, and we decided this was the best campground from Ellis to Russell. The campground was very clean and well run. The manager is always busy keeping the place looking good, and uses a golf cart to guide you to your spot. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. The internet and cable TV were worth the money. We are Passport customers.
A nice old Passport America campground. We enjoyed their pool and liked the old trees in the campground. A good place to stay in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The wifi costs $3 per stay, and they sign you into their system.
We spent one night here. We enjoyed the nice pool and were very pleased to have workers help guide us and other campers into their designated sites. The campground was clean and organized. A nice place to camp in Branson, Missouri
We stayed at this park last week and enjoyed the location for four nights. They were just completing their wireless system and it was nice to have free wireless internet in the camper. The sites were all level with crushed rock and nice grass areas between the sites. We especially enjoyed the pool, despite the fact that it was not very large. The bathrooms and laundry room were also nice. A nice Passport America campground.
