Our site was on the end of the row, and was not really all that level,(sloped downhill. We heard the planes all hours of the night, even with a fan on in the bedroom. The cable was not very clear, we had better selection of channels (and more) on the antenna! People in the monthly(?) sites seemed to think they owned the park, and walked through any site they desired, even stood out in front of ours, and carried on a conversation. The morning we were hooking up to leave, they had a lawn care guy in spraying the grass, and he was even spraying right up next to us while we were hooking up. (couldn't have waited a about 4 more minutes for us to leave?) The looks of the park is nice, but we won't be back.
We stayed a week here and found the park very clean, quiet and relaxing. The previous reviewers are correct in that it has level concrete sites. Some of the sites are back ins and even some back up to the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing the lake, however, we only fished for the sport (catch & release).
We won't be back to this park ever. Upon arrival we were informed there were only 2 sites available. They were water/electric only, not a problem. However, they neglected to tell us they were also the most unlevel ones in the park! That night I counted at least 5 available sites and they were still empty the next morning. Furthermore, the lady that waited on us was rude to start with. I would rather drive further than return here.
Entrance is steep but paved. We had site #34 which was a long pull through with a nice yard area. They do have WiFi now, 70 cable TV channels. The pool was in use for a birthday party around 2 p.m., and looked like the kids were enjoying themselves. The pool was far enough from our site, we didn't hear any noise. The park is approximately 1 mile from I-40 and there was no noise from it or highway 22. Very good campground and we will return again!!!
