The park itself is no resort by any means. However the sites are level, the grounds clean, and the facilities are close to all sites. Gas, a small grocery store and restaurant on site. Good food and PIES. Wonderful pies. Veterans get a discount. Friendly staff throughout. Almost shouting distance to the Sand Dunes. Each site is roomy.
A very simple park. Nothing fancy, but everything works. Friendly staff and above all, you are inside Yellowstone National Park. Spaces were available in June, but make your reservations in advance. I goofed and booked a day to many in error and they gave me a funded for that day. Very accommodating folks.
I come to Casper annually to fly fish on the N Platte. I've stayed at each of the RV parks in this area. Lacking in mature trees this park is still by far the best. Yes, there are many semi permanent spaces. They all come here because there is a lack of housing. The staff is friendly. A lot of places to walk your dogs. The sites are level and clean.
Easy access to and from most highways and freeways. Very nice campground with many beautiful sites. Lots a places to safely walk your dog(s). We've stayed there many times and I highly recommend this place. Fun staff and they pick up your garbage each morning.
Nice and clean older park with level sites. New friendly management was very helpful. Shower works well in an older building. Not many permanents but easily identified by older units. Wi-Fi recently upgraded and works well. No dog run. No recycling. We would stay here again should we come back this way. The area is awesome.
Easy well marked access from the main road. Well maintained gravel roads with level gravel sites located adjacent to the Dolores River in the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Utilities are conveniently located and worked properly. The sites are all under trees with many having quality grass between. Quiet setting with fishing, hiking in the area. This is one of the finest RV park we have had the pleasure to stay in. No cell phone coverage but the Wi-Fi worked kind of great, satellite TV worked fine. Free fire wood with a fire ring at each site. RV camping the way it should be! Pet friendly. It’s the totality of the camping experience with mountain setting, spectacular views, sounds of the river and quiet setting, friendly and helpful staff and clean facilities. We will be back!!
Overpriced, dirty, wi-fi sometimes, welcome staff not friendly but not unfriendly. I didn't feel they were happy to see me. My site was just like the premium sites. My site is muddy covered with trash all over to include cigarette butts, bottle caps, dog excrement on the corner. I will not come back to this park. And they have the audacity to charge a resort fee. There's no grass at almost all the sites. A resort fee, give me a break.
The campground is rustic but very clean and tight for 40-footers. The sites are mostly level. The staff is very friendly. Limited quantity of full hookups but have plenty of W & E. The RV dump is easy to access on the way out. Close access to freeway and same for fuel. Very quiet except for the early leavers. I'm glad we found this RV park. Will definitely be back.
Beautiful park. I thought it to be a little costly. Ideally located for sight seeing. The terminal on site was a major plus. The nearby hwy is easily tolerable. That could depend on your location. The 2 fellows that escort you to the site have attitude. The staff in office very helpful regarding your needs. The shower heads sucked. The Wi-Fi was totally inadequate, unless it was the middle of the night. I will stay there again. They have a couple of large dog runs and a great walking trail.
Nothing fancy at this park. Friendly owners and staff. Looks like a converted parking lot. Lots of pet areas just outside the park. Its close to a lot of good stuff. I've stayed here before and probably will again. Easy access to freeways.
A clean well maintained park. Its older and the sites are a little cosy. Great showers and restrooms. Not much for pet walks, need to leave the park. Not a big deal. Fuel & gas on site. Wonderful laundry room if you need one. Important - Ask about the quirk on the GPS for this place before heading there.
Nice folks and very accommodating. Needs new shower heads in men shower room. The pool is shaded in the late afternoon. That is way awesome. The restaurant is OK, nothing to rave about, but handy when your tired. Limited spaces for overhead mounted direct TV antenna. We would/will stay again in our travels.
A little traffic noise. Close to lots to do and see. Great staff. Clean and very friendly for you and well behaved pets. We'll be back and would recommend to other travelers without kids. WiFi worked fine, small pool was very soothing.
